Just a short break for the England fielders - they went back up to their changing room for the best part of five minutes. The group together in a huddle for some last-minute motivational words from the senior players. Anderson is ready to rock and roll. Here we go ....

We are seeing a widening gap now between the have and have nots in Test cricket now. That is raising questions about the legitimacy of Test cricket. Should we have two divisions in Test cricket? Is that something that was inevitable because you're seeing that gap widening between the Test nations?

West Indies have to show a bit of character now and a bit of pride. They need to go out there and forget the scoreboard, and go and fight. Go and play for your country, it's as simple as that. Don't make it simple for England.

  6. England have enforced the follow-onpublished at 17:11 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

The West Indies openers will be coming back out. Anderson and Broad will have a new ball in hand.

It was like he was having a snooze at the non-striker's end! It was well fielded.

Miguel Cummins was never in the frame for that single.

Cummins run out (Westley) 0 (WI 168 all out)

Windies all out. Blackwood had just played a lovely controlled shot to third man for four and then - he tucks it out to the leg side, looking for a single off the final ball to keep the strike, he sacrifices the number 11 who is run out by a direct hit from Tom Westley.

There might be a few fireworks now with Blackwood on 73. He might fancy a bit of a dip to get near to his hundred. He's played very well.

  11. WI 161-9published at 46 overs

Miguel Cummins, who has a Test average of six, is the new man in. He sees off Broad's final ball. Will Blackwood step it up a gear now?

Joseph was looking very solid and he gets a pat on the back from Blackwood. That looked absolutely stone dead, though. Broad barely appealed. He ran down the wicket with his arm raised in celebration!

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 45.5 overs

    Joseph lbw b Broad 6 (Wi 162-9)

Joseph is gone. Broad bowls straighter, Joseph plays across the line and is caught plumb in front. Just one more wicket left for England. Follow-on or not? Surely, they will?

It was a rather chastening experience for West Indies this afternoon - and they've still got a long way to go.

  15. WI 161-8published at 45 overs

    Eng 514-8 dec

Blackwood is showing a bit of fight here for West Indies. Meanwhile, Joseph has doubled his Test average as he ducks, dodges and dabs away three James Anderson deliveries. An exaggerated forward defensive shot, getting behind the line, he shows that perhaps he is better than the average suggests.

A beauty from Anderson, just a touch of movement off the pitch but the West Indies number 10 plays well inside the line. Maiden.

If it's up, it's off. If there's any sort of length to be driven, he really does like it. I don't think I've seen him play a pull or hook shot.

  17. 6 runs

    WI 161-8published at 44 overs

Shot! Blackwood is DEFINITELY looking to score some runs. He backs away from Stuart Broad, who follows him to the leg side with a pitched up delivery and it's lofted over wide long-on for six!

A pumped up Broad throws in the short stuff, two of them in fact. Umpire Marais Erasmus gives him the single to say he's had his two for the over. The final delivery is short again, but Erasmus gives him the benefit of the doubt.

It wouldn't surprise me if England don't enforce the follow-on - they might go out and whack another hundred-and-something.

  19. WI 155-8published at 43 overs

    Blackwood 66, Joseph 6

D31, that is very, very good!!

Someone else who is very, very good is James Anderson. A back of the length delivery jumps up on Blackwood, hitting that spot on the turf that outdone Kyle Hope this morning. Blackwood is still looking to score runs, and he gets a single by dragging the ball over to mid-on. Three slips and a gully come in for Joseph.

That's brilliant - I retract my tailender comment from the previous over. He rocks back and drives square for four.
