Greg Double: If you are my age and a cricket fan, you spent your youth in awe of the Windies. I simply cannot begrudge them this result.
David Wallace: Brathwaite and Hope, did much more than cope...Come on, Fazeer. Start making up the calypso.
Stephendmp: Thank you Windies for taking my mind off Arsenal. Terrifc perfomance. Wonderful test cricket. No blame on Root.

Joe Root was right to declare and press for victory. It's good for the game in every respect - it'll do wonders for West Indies cricket. They've played so well today.
38 runs to win from 13 overs
England just aren't creating the chances they'd have hoped with this new ball.
David's point is fair but I was fully supporting his decision yesterday. Surely he had to back the bowlers to do the job?

Root’s first duty was to ensure that England could not lose the series and, having done so by at least drawing the current match, seek to lead the side to victory in the final game. The declaration late pm August 28th was ill advised.

It'd be ironic if the players did come off - just a week after we had a floodlit Test.
Need 40 to win from 13.4 overs
Shot! Beautiful from Hope as he crunches Anderson through the covers.
It's dark but the batsmen are coping for now. The umpires won't take them off will they?
If ever there was any doubt as to how Jermaine Blackwood would approach this...
Need 44 to win from 14 overs
There is still some life in this pitch as we head into the final moments. Broad gets one to jump off a length to Blackwood but the batsman drops his hands well.
England have just the one slip with this new ball but do they have any choice?
West Indies look like they could do this comfortably.

It's a terrific performance and will go down as a historic moment for this ground.
There it is! Streaky but Shai Hope gets to his century with an inside edge onto his pads.
He becomes the first player to score centuries in both innings of a first-class match at Headingley.
The crowd stands and applauds. Quite right too. Hope's celebration if muted. There's work to do still. Plenty of time to celebrate later.
Need 47 to win in 15 overs
Shai Hope is on 99 after the drinks break...
Need 47 to win in 15 overs
Blackwood goes again but this time only connects enough for a single.
Can Hope get his hundred this time? No. He pushes for two but good fielding keeps him to one.
Blackwood swipes again. He hits fresh air not leather.
We're going to have a drinks break now. Breathe...

Moeen Ali.... get ready at third man. With Jermaine Blackwood's bat speed, the ball could be coming your way.
49 runs to win from 15.4 overs
Chants of "ooooooh Jimmy, Jimmy..." from the crowd. He's from Lancashire but the Yorkshire crowd don't care. Anderson needs to break through here. A single brings Blackwood on strike...
What a shot! It's six.
The West Indian steps away and whacks the ball over Anderson's head. Amazing.

Dick Straughan: I'm trying to produce Drivetime on BBC Cornwall. This Test match climax is just too distracting!
Glenn Houlihan: Trying to catch TMS overseas on the Boston to Amherst greyhound, the connection is cruelly averaging one ball per over...
Need 56 runs to win from 16 overs
England do take the new ball and as Aggers says it is very dark.
Anderson is back to take the new cherry with Hope on 97.

It's getting to the stage where they must be considering the light. I hope they don't go off...
Need 56 runs to win from 16 overs
Woakes has struggled in this match but has looked dangerous after making that breakthrough few overs ago.
That's partly because Blackwood started off swinging from the hip but he's calmed down a little now. Hope has gone under the radar in the last 20 minutes but he takes a single to move to 97.
Blackwood calmed down? Not one bit. He heaves Woakes over the leg side for four. Ugly but he won't care.
The new ball is now available.

Simon Major: Really need to go food shopping but there's no way I'm turning the cricket off at this stage.
