England could still win from here. The West Indies have got to try and go for it but if one wicket goes, the pressure will mount etc...

Still Anderson continues. The new ball is available in just eight overs. What are England's plans here? Surely their greatest ever has to take it?

    Oh no!! There's the edge!

But Joe Root is the only slip and is where a second slip would usually stand. The ball goes in the gap. Head and hands all round.

Another edge! This one doesn't carry to Root and the skipper does a great job of preventing more runs by parrying the ball on the dive.

A brilliant over from Anderson. Chances created but no wickets.

Alexa Harding: I'm sat at my desk... really need to leave. But I can't leave just yet. Go Windies. Go Bajan Boys!

Morwenna Roche: Come on West Indies, it'll be good for Test cricket everywhere if they win and show five days are still needed.

Shai Hope was kept quiet after tea but he relieved some pressure with this four and is now just 12 short of a century.

  6. WI 235-3published at 72 overs

Need 87 runs from 24 overs

Shai Hope is frustrated again as he misses the chance to reach the nineties with a drive. He picked out the fielder at extra cover but a hard either side would have been four.

More hands on heads. Jonny Bairstow can't believe it.

A bouncer from Broad comes within an inch of being pulled onto his stumps.

    That was close.

NLWP: Not sure where this is 'going all the way' talk is coming from, Windies are cruising to victory.

Lee Ingham: I hate to break it to people, but WI have won this.

Patrick Brennan: There can be no question that WI deserve to win this Test. They would have won already, if they didn't have fingers of butter.

    S Hope 87, Chase 18

All eyes on Shai Hope now as he bids to become the first player to score a century in both innings of a first-class match as Headingley.

Stuart Broad is not happy with the footholes in his run up.

He waves to the groundstaff who run on with a wheelbarrow and two different pieces of gardening equipment, the names of which I do not know.

We're going to have a little pause.

You can tell the situation is tight - the two opening bowlers have both bowled 19 overs each and Stokes and Woakes have five and eight respectively.

  10. WI 232-3published at 71 overs

Need 90 runs from 25 overs

How has Shai Hope got more four runs here?

It's a Jimmy Anderson inswinger and Hope has one hand on his bat but manages to skew the ball down to fine leg where it beats the diving Malan.

Hope had scored just five runs since tea until that over but that makes a big difference.

David Draycott: Not often time, runs and wickets are all major factors going in to the final session on the final day. Cracking Test.

Adam Wheeler: Got the feeling something is going to give. A flurry of boundaries or a couple of wickets.

Moments after changing his bat, Shai Hope relieves the pressure as Anderson serves up a loose wide delivery.

The batsman cuts for four. Nothing wrong with the new willow.

Those leg byes take the runs required below 100. Nervy times.

Broad bowled a nasty delivery to Hope in that over which jumped up and hit the batsman on the glove. No short leg though so no danger.

It's a poor review. I don't agree that they might as well take it. They might need that review in the next 10 overs.

  17. Not outpublished at 69.3 overs

A terrible, terrible review. It actually hit Hope outside leg stump and was then going even further down.

Broad doesn't do myself any favours with the opinion he reviews everything.

The worst thing is the ball went for four leg byes.

  18. England reviewpublished at 69.3 overs

Broad hits Hope on the pad. It is surely going down but England have two reviews left so think it's worth the risk.

Anderson is bowling very straight so lbw comes into play if Roston Chase misjudges one.

  20. WI 219-3published at 69 overs

Need 103 to win from 27 overs

Chase gets one on the thumb from Anderson. It hurt a little as he takes his hands off the bat and gives it a shake.

Three maidens in a row now. Dots bring pressure. That's what England have to keep telling themselves.

Anderson has now bowled 19 overs. How many more can he bowl and still take the new ball?
