They'll have to be back out there by 18:40 BST for play to go on this evening.
I'd suggest that is highly unlikely as the gloom shrouds Lord's.
Bad light ends play early
Stoneman, Cook, Westley & Root all out
Two wickets each for Roach and Holder
Stokes takes 6-22 in Windies 123 all out
Anderson on 499 Test wickets
Decider in three-match series
Jack Skelton and Jamie Lillywhite

Eng 46-4
No surprise as the umpires meet to discuss the light at the end of that Holder over and duly decide to take the players off.
England gleefully accept, Holder tries to protest against the decision but nothing doing.
Run rate 2.42
Holder over-pitches onto Stokes' pads and the Durham all-rounder rolls his wrists to clip it away to the fence.
The Windies captain throws his hands up as Stokes leaves one just over the stumps. On balance, a well-judged leave. Just about.
It is very, very dark out there.

Alex Corps: People very happy to criticise our batsmen...Maybe they didn't notice the 10 wickets that fell earlier. It's tricky out there.

Scoring is so difficult out there that that little flurry of boundaries feels like it might have tipped the balance back equal.
No boundaries here as Malan resolves to clip into the leg-side for a couple.
Oh jeez. Malan defends a full delivery with the bat angled at 45 degrees, the ball bouncing back towards the stumps as the Middlesex man just knocks it away in time.
That might've just missed his off stump actually but good awareness to scramble back. Nervy stuff.

Somebody needs to take a good look at the job England selectors are collectively doing. STILL enormous issues at 2,3 and 5. The constant recalling of Gary Ballance. The Liam Dawson episode, which baffled 99.9% of the country's pundits and fans, the picking of a clearly not match fit Woakes. Seven Tests this summer and not one of the issues from May (and before) have been solved. Going into Brisbane, it's borderline comical.

Malan 11, Stokes 9
Malan joins the boundary party, opening the face and guiding past point for four.
Another good-looking push through point brings three as the fielder dives too early and misses the ball while chasing it.

I don't think I have ever worn a T-shirt. I honestly can't remember it. I must have done. I don't think I'd wear one for my last Lord's Test.

Ben Stokes has stamped himself on this Test with the ball and looks to do the same with the bat.
A slightly fortunate four past the slips is followed by a cracking drive wide of mid-off that also races to the fence.
An hour of Stokes and the complexion of the match could change again.
No Essex escape act for England as Alastair Cook and Tom Westley fall in quick succession...
It then gets even worse for the hosts as captain Joe Root edges off...

Stokes tucks it away for a single to get off the mark, before Malan successfully fends off the rest of Holder's over.
England in the mire. Can these two dig in and survive to the close? There could be another 55 minutes to go - though the light could well curtail that.

Ross Harrison: Would it be easier if Eng just started all innings automatically at 20/3?
Ben Stokes arrives at the crease for England - can his bowling exploits inspire him to pull off a rescue act with the bat?
Hmm, it appears Holder doesn't realise he's on a hat-trick, failing to bring in the field or add an extra catcher. Stokes defends a full ball.

That's a tremendous catch because the keeper started to go. That shot is rewarding for Root, but it also causes him problems. The Australians will bowl there to him, hip-high, packing the gully region. West Indies are right back in this Test.
Root c Powell b Holder 1 (Eng 24-4)
West Indies aren't just right back in this - they might even be on top now.
Joe Root shapes to play that back-foot punch he clatters to the fence when in form but only manages to get a nick on it that flies to first slip, Kieran Powell taking an excellent, sharp catch.
Two wickets in two deliveries for Jason Holder after removing Tom Westley with the last ball of his previous over.

The Angry Dog: Ok it isn't funny anymore, please spare us from the Westley experience, he's a walking LBW. Root in before 10 ovs, standard.
Those who didn't see the fleeting touch of sunshine around Lord's at the toss will be utterly bewildered as to why West Indies elected to bat first. Almost straight after the start the gloom descended, morphing the home of cricket into a bowler's paradise.
Dawid Malan strides out at his home ground and gets off the mark with a super straight drive for four. Can he use his experience of Lord's to help bail out England?
Roach responds with a beauty that Malan plays at but is lucky enough to miss.

It's been pretty tricky for most batsmen today. Westley needed runs, to find a way to get through it. He played a few nice defensive strokes. It's just not easy out there in these conditions. Clearly it's a problem that Stoneman and Westley haven't got runs, but it's hard to judge them on today.

I thought that was fairly high, but given out quickly by the umpire. It nipped back up the hill and he played all round it. It would have been umpire's call - it's a good shout by Joe Root to send him on his way.
Westley lbw Holder 8 (Eng 19-3)
Just after a shot that inspired a modicum of confidence, Tom Westley is trudging back to the pavilion once again.
He's out in familiar fashion - Jason Holder bowling almost an off-cutter that jags back towards the stumps, Westley missing it as it flicks the top of the back pad.
It looked right on the edge but umpire Marais Erasmus gave it straight away.
A lengthy chat between Westley and Joe Root follows but they decide against reviewing. Good decision - it was borderline but was also crucially umpire's call.
