    Stoneman 30, Westley 16

Surely the West Indies know that Westley's favoured shot is the clip off the pads? he can put them away all day long and as Holder strays it's the eighth boundary of the England innings. Just 38 needed now.

Neale Pye: Be nice to see the two new guys see us home. Have I cursed them?

Steven Shaw: This seems ideal for these two. Low target, plenty of time and opportunity to play themselves into form. I hope they take it.

There are not many wides in Test matches but this one from Holder is heading for second slip so there cannot be any other decision. Floodlights not on yet, perhaps the MCC is saving the pennies because there will be a few refunds sent out for no play tomorrow.

Wonderful commentary over the years. Thanks for such amazing descriptions of cricket life. It will not be the same without Blowers.

A legend is about to leave the building. Goodbye Blowers and thanks for all the fun.

The black clouds are over the pavilion now, we have seen some extraordinary skylines in this match. Somehow it is still sunny out in the middle and Westley keeps the bowling with a single from Bishoo's final ball of the over.

He pulled it hard and it was very, very close whether that carried.

Looks like a nice technique there Anna, lovely balance. Stoneman takes on the short one from Holder and it drops just short of mid-wicket. The first maiden of the innings and I must confess I didn't think we would see one.

My granddaughter Anna married Bas, an Australian, on September 1st at Calke Abbey, Derbyshire. A challenge cricket match was played in the interval between ceremony and reception. I include a picture of the bride setting off after clipping one off her toes to the off side.

Dark clouds are circling the famous old ground as captain Holder sends down a wild throw allowing England to take an overthrow. Andrew "Beef" Johnston is in today and talking of amiable fellows, that Harry Kane is a nice young man. Come on the Lilywhites.

Holder replaces Gabriel but is cut away by Stoneman for his third boundary. He's a huge man, like one of his predecessors Darren Sammy, but neither have been quick. The Windies are still searching for a successor to Joel Garner, who amazed me once by under-arming the ball in from the boundary. Time for drinks, with just 56 to win.

We haven't learned anything new about England this summer; the experienced players have scored runs. But I like Stoneman - he looks the real deal. He hasn't scored many runs I like the way he shapes up.

Jonny Bairstow has the shorts on and is scribbling away at his Sudoku on the balcony, he will not be expecting to be needed again this afternoon. Gabriel is still nudging 90mph but Westley clips him for two.

Tom Westley is the new man and fair to say he could do with a few runs after single-figure scores in his past five innings. He is away first ball with a flick off his pads through mid-wicket for two.
