The replays don't do Dowrich any favours. Not only was the length not there, he was also trying to fetch it from wide of off stump. Can anyone stay with Shai Hope? Captain Jason Holder is the new man.

That's a poor dismissal - it just spooned up in the air, a gimme wicket. The ball was nothing special and it shouldn't have been put into Broad's hands. They have just been getting themselves out this morning. The captain is their last throw of the dice. I thought he should have come in before Dowrich.

Oh, no. No, no, no. This is about as bad as you'll see. Shane Dowrich, get off and never besmirch our doorstep with shots like this again. It's shortish from Toby Roland-Jones, but not nearly short enough to be playing this sort of pull shot. Dowrich can only splice it Stuart Broad at mid-on. An awful stroke in any situation, but even more so given the state of the game.

Re question 4, there are actually eleven modes of dismissal:

Bowled, Caught, LBW, Hit Wicket, Stumped, Run Out, Handled Ball, Hit Ball Twice, Timed Out, Interfered with Play.

But in addition, if you retire (uninjured), you are also classed as dismissed.

Stokes, his flame hair starting to thin, has curved approach to the crease. Straight, then towards mid-off, then back in. The sun is shining quite brightly now, theoretically making the Windies' task a little easier. Shai Hope, the diminutive speedbump on the road of English progress, remains solid. Straight bat, forward and back. Maybe some spin?

Blackwood averages 33 but what a poor shot he played. He has some talent but he plays some crazy shots. There is something there to work with but you can't just stand and deliver to quality bowlers like Anderson.

Toby Roland-Jones replaces Broad, watched by some chaps in the crowd wearing the most horrific blazers you could wish to see. Two shades of pink. What is it about a Lord's Test that makes gentlemen dress up like a packet of Skittles? Hope is on to a short ball, pulling in front of square for four. TRJ, meanwhile, looks like has hasn't shaved during this Test. There's a dead slug on his top lip.

If the game is over today - and many punters have Day 4 tickets...why not get both these teams out tomorrow in their colours and play a "friendly" T20 or even a T15? Just for fun. No pressure.

The first bowling change of the day, Anderson off, Ben Stokes on. The Durham all-rounder is greeted by a Dowrich drive through the covers for four. England women's skipper Heather Knight is watching - she rang the five-minute bell before play this morning. Knight is a clever cookie - she turned down a place at Cambridge University. Therefore, I suspect part two of our exam would be a doddle for 'Trev'....

We know West Indies are wobbly and it looks as if they are not going to get enough. A lead of 150 we know can be awkward but it doesn't look like they are going to get that at the moment. I thought the left-hander Powell last night was a big wicket and they have bowled well again this morning. Anderson is the key.

Broad once more as we tick into the second hour of the day in glorious sunshine. It's odd to see HQ bathed in the warm stuff when we know so much of the country is getting battered by rain. I suspect there will be lots of games of cards played by club cricketers today. Ooofff, this is close, Broad appealing for lbw against Shai Hope. Broad is convinced, but Marais Erasmus isn't. England do not have any reviews left. It would have been too high, anyway.

Jack: England have a lot to improve on or will lose the Ashes 5-0 sadly. Three weak batsmen in top 5 and can't catch a cold.

England have bowled beautifully this morning. Anderson has got the two wickets but Broad has bowled well enough to get a couple. Realistically you are looking at Shai Hope for the West Indies - can he play a big innings and get himself on the honours board?

Anderson in what will probably be his last over, happy to give Shai Hope a single in order to have five balls at Dowrich. Five (yes, five) slips in place, with an edge going all along the ground to third man, just beating the sprint and dive of Jonny Bairstow (again, you read that right). He loves a run to the boundary, Jonny, ending with a faceplant into the rope.

It would been outstanding, but it still has to go down to a drop. Stuart Broad flings himself to his left in follow-through, trying to grab an airy drive from Shane Dowrich. He gets finger-tips to it, but can't cling on. I reckon Broad catches that maybe only two or three times out of 10.

Another Test match this summer looks like finishing early. Why don't the organisers start games on a Saturday? There's not even any good footy on tomorrow.

Still Broad. He and Anderson have done almost an hour in tandem this morning. Four slips in place for the right-handed Dowrich as the sun plays hide-and-seek behind a cloud. Toby Roland-Jones goes through some looseners at long leg as the Lord's crowd makes that familiar din. Inside-edge, but no short leg.

England post a short mid-off for Shai Hope, with the plan almost working. An uppish drive to Anderson is almost in the grasp of Mark Stoneman. I wonder if Tom Westley is hoping that West Indies get a big enough lead for him to have another bat. The chance to prove himself. Speaking of proving yourself, here are the first questions from the Test cricket exam. Don't phone in, it's just for fun.
