Hope played really well, it was angled in then late, late movement away. It took the outside edge and a simple catch to Bairstow. There have been some good balls bowled in this Test. If it has your name on it there's nothing you can do.

Yet again Anderson's name is on the honours board. it took an unplayable delivery to get rid of Hope.

A few puns on Hope will be coming in now. The premier West Indies batsman departs and it took a beauty to get rid of him, perfectly pitched in the corridor, nibbling away and taking the edge. Another five-wicket haul for Anderson, his fifth at Lord's, where it all began for him in 2003.

Will Root secretly want West Indies to post a decent score so he can get the record for consecutive fifties?

Broad, who had a seven-over spell of 0-3 this morning, takes up the attack from the Pavilion End. We had five slips in this morning reminiscent of the halcyon Windies days of Holding and Garner but just the two and a gully now. Bairstow and Cook have a little race back to their mark like a couple of youngsters, lovely stuff.

West Indies need a couple more partnerships, but this is the partnership that England want to break. The pitch is still pretty good and England will be happy chasing anything around 200.

    Lead by 83

There was a brief burst of rain during the interval but sunshine is bathing the emerald turf at the moment as Jimmy Anderson resumes from the Nursery End. He has two fielders on those crop circles on the offside around 15 yards from the bat but no chance given.

So Holder was on six when that chance went down. The Windies added 60 in that morning session for the loss of three wickets and the lead is now 82. The players are making their way out to the centre in the sunshine now and this is another extended session until 16:10 BST.

England skipper Joe Root brought himself on for the final over before lunch and could have been the golden arm yet again, but Jason Holder's thick edge off the last ball of the session thudded into Alastair Cook's shin before he could get his hands in place.

A few catches went down again and we estimate that 26 have been grassed during the series. Broad dropped a routine chance at mid-off, prompting him to thump the turf in frustration, but this one of his own bowling was more difficult.

Shai Hope bided his time this morning after some excellent stuff from the old warriors Anderson and Broad. But how about this drive off Stokes? He definitely has something about him.

Thanks Stephan. Never any need for unpleasantness, is there? I can't always be so sure when I'm watching my non-league team and the opposition full-back is nearby, though. Wealdstone away today so there may be some sobbing during the afternoon.

Ok, let's start with a picture. Does this remind of anyone of Neil in that episode of the Young Ones where they find a genie?

England's Anya Shrubsole: "It was honestly an instinctive moment. Dane Van Nierkerk is someone I do know and you know how it feels. You want to set an example for how the game should be played. It's sometimes a hard thing to get right because you've got 22 ultra competitive people and you never want to lose that, but there's obviously a right way to go about it."

Not only was she player of the match in the Women's World Cup final, but Anya Shrubsole has also won the MCC/BBC Christopher Martin-Jenkins Spirit of Cricket Award.

Shrubsole comforted South Africa captain Dane van Niekerk after hitting the winning runs in the semi-final in scenes akin to Andrew Flintoff and Brett Lee during the 2005 Ashes.
