  1. 'Weather is hit and miss'published at 20:08 British Summer Time 16 September 2017

BBC weather presenter Sarah Keith-Lucas on TMS: "It looks like the rain has cleared for now. We do have a few showers in the vicinity but they are hit and miss.

"We should have a dry window but we may well just catch a passing shower."

  3. The current forecast ...published at 20:03 British Summer Time 16 September 2017

I said it wasn't in the forecast, but the forecast changed.

As you can see from the below, it shouldn't be anything to worry about. Hopefully.

It's raining. It's raining hard. The players are off. What a shame.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.3 overs

    Powell c Jordan b Curran 28 (WI 165-8)

Out! Slower ball from Curran and that's clubbed into the leg-side and a well taken catch by Chris Jordan. The rain was in his eyes but he held on.

That is a fabulous shot from Rovman Powell. He's done well to pick that up - there's a lot of bottom hand in there.

    WI 165-7published at 18.2 overs

    Powell 28, Nurse 5

A high full toss from Curran and it's a massive, massive six through the deep mid-wicket region.

  10. dropped catch

Nurse dropped on 4published at 18.1 overs

A tough, tough chance but a drop.

Nurse hits Tom Curran flat to long-off and Liam Plunkett dives forward, just getting there before the ball bounces but spills the catch. Fingertips.

  11. WI 158-7published at 18 overs

    Powell 22, Nurse 4

There's an lbw appeal from Jordan who darts one into the pads of Powell. It looked close but maybe it had a bit of bat on it. West Indies run through for a single.

A nice recovery from Jordan after that six. 11 from the over.

  12. 6 runs

    WI 157-7published at 17.3 overs

Chris Jordan can't get his line right and gifts the tourists two wides down the leg side.

Slow and short from the Sussex bowler, Powell rocks back, pulls and clonks him into the crowd for a huge six.

West Indies have to get Powell on strike. They have to look for new angles. They are trying to hit everything back down the ground.

  14. WI 147-7published at 17 overs

    Powell 15, Nurse 2

Tom Curran, with his shaved sides and slicked-back hair, returns to the attack. He went for some earlier. He bounces Ashley Nurse, who top edges it straight into his helmet. Thankfully, he gives the thumbs-up to show he is OK.

Just four runs from the over. West Indies are on the ropes a bit here. They were 106-1 at the start of the 10th over. That tells you everything you need to know.

That was an ugly hoik from Sunil Narine. Rashid comes into his own when he is clearly out the tail. The lower order don't have a plan for his variations.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16 overs

Narine lbw Rashid 2 (WI 143-7)

England ask the question, and Narine is gone. My co-live texter Matthew Henry just told me that Narine scored the fastest fifty in this year's IPL. As soon as those words came out of his mouth, Narine played an awful attempt at a sweep shot and is plumb in front.

Brathwaite tried to do too much. It is difficult. He had that big moment in the sunshine. They have even named a street after him.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.1 overs

    Brathwaite b Rashid 2 (WI 138-6)

Bowled him. The West Indies skipper looks to sweep Rashid, gets too far across is bowled behind his legs.

  19. WI 138-5published at 15 overs

    Powell 11, Brathwaite 10

Chris Jordan replaces Liam Plunkett and Rovman Powell guides one down to third man for two. A bit shorter from Jordan and this time the West Indies batsman plays an intentional steer down to the same area for four.

Nice line from Jordan who tucks up Powell and captain Carlos. 10 from the over. The brakes have been put on this West Indies innings.

West Indies looked like they would get 200 comfortably - they were flying. Now England have dragged it back, 180 would be good for West Indies.
