Hales plays the pull shot so nicely. If he can get a grip of these first 10 overs, this could be done very quickly.

Target 205 (42 overs)
England are up and running as Bairstow nudgesTaylor for a single off his legs, while a shorter delivery is meat and drink to Hales who effortlessly pulls the big Jamaican for four.
There's then some comedic fielding from Jason Mohammed, who chases the ball into the leg side, tries to flick the ball up as he nears the boundary and only succeeds in flicking the ball over the boundary as he himself tumbles into the rope.

You feel England will chase this down comfortably, but there will be some dew in a couple of hours, so you don't know what the ball will do.
As with the latter stages of the aforementioned Champions Trophy, it's a (slightly) new-look opening partnership for England, with Jonny Bairstow opening alongside Alex Hales. Jerome Taylor to bowl. Let's play.

Francis Edwards: It amazes me everytime England play some third tier nation they get bigged up far more than they should, look at champs trophy.
West Indies are out on the outfield, the floodlights are on, and a couple of important reminders if you're just switching on your phone after work and you've not been with us all afternoon:
Thanks Stephan, me hearty. It being International Talk Like A Pirate Day, we'll shortly see if Captain Morgan's crew can sink the raiders from the Caribbean, and send their World Cup qualification hopes down to Davy Jones' locker...
(I'll leave the pirate references there, or Stephan will make me walk the plank).
Right, I'm off to contemplate my future. Here's Mark Mitchener.

West Indies don't have as much money as the other board - there's going to have to be something done about it if they're going to keep these players.

India, England and Australia do pay the Test players a decent amount of money, but it's nowhere near how much the T20 players can earn. We've got more and more T20 leagues coming around, including our own in 2020, and players will look at all these opportunities. Someone like James Vince, dropped by England, will spend his winter playing in Bangladesh, South Africa and the Big Bash in Australia, and he'll earn a lot more than he is at Hampshire.
You can share your team on social media once you've chosen it. There's not a great deal of backing for Tom Westley, but Alex Hales is feeling the love. Ben Stokes to bat at five is popular too.
Remember, today we've launched our shiny new Ashes selector, where you can choose the men that you think should defend the urn for England in Australia this winter.
You can find it right here.
But there wasn't much in between...

That was definitely a captain's innings by Holder, just giving them something to work with.
...and ended well...
It's fair to say that West Indies started well...

Stoney: You would've thought England would know better than to allow Stokes to bowl the final over of a West Indies innings.

West Indies will be frustrated because the start they had was positive, but once Marlon Samuels got out all the energy was lost. They don't rotate the strike well. England will be really pleased. Ben Stokes offered a lot, Adil Rashid was good as well. On a wicket like today, they will feel very comfortable in chasing that down.

The West Indies have rallied at the end of the innings, but England will be happy to have kept them to below five per over.
England will need 205 to win. Jason Holder chips the final delivery for a couple over mid-off. The skipper has given them a chance. He has 41 from 33 balls. Stokes' final over went for 15 runs. Still, England are big favourites to go 1-0 up in this series.
