Stokes is muttering about Spidercam after that catch. I agree with him. You can't have a camera moving about in front of a fielder's eyeline like that.

  2. wicket

    Shakib c Stokes b Ball 10

Shakib was looking to go big but couldn't get much willow on it. It loops in the air and falls to Ben Stokes at long-on.

Stokes isn't happy, mind you, he points at a camera - I think it may have been putting him of.

I wonder about this decision. Ball's had a bad day so far - it looks like they've gone for him over Stokes.

  4. Ban 277-4 (Shakib 10, Sabbir 6)published at 46.3 overs

Those two wickets have probably put pay to hopes of a 330, 340 score for Bangladesh. But they got 10 off the last over and Jake Ball is bowling...

Four! Woeful ball from Ball and Sabbir Rahman helps himself, over the top and into the fence.

A single, and then Shakib Al Hasan swings and misses...

  5. Ban 272-4 (Shakib 10, Sabbir 1)published at 46 overs

These two don't really have time to play themselves in.

A good recovery from Wood but then a bit of luck for Shakib, he goes to pull a short one, doesn't quite get hold of it but is gloved through to the fine leg boundary.

Bangladesh's 12th man is lurking by the ropes with a change of gloves ready to bring out. Sweaty palms? They've only been at the crease a matter of minutes.

  7. Ban 267-4 (Shakib 6, Sabbir 0)published at 45.3 overs

Mark Wood into his ninth over then for England, great shot! Shakib Al Hasan gives himself a spot of room outside the off stump and carves him to the fence.

    No messing about.

  8. Ban 261-4 (Shakib 0, Sabbir 0)published at 44.5 overs

Liam Plunkett on a hat-trick, goes for the yorker...just wide!

That's disappointing. Mushfiqur has just lost Tamim and then he sends an easy catch into the air. Bangladesh wanted him to stay until the end.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 44.4 overs

    Mushfiqur c Hales b Plunkett 79 (261-4)

Oh Mushfiqur! Both of the settled batsmen now gone in consecutive balls. Back of a length, he tries to hoick it to the leg side and is easily caught by Alex Hales.

What a fantastic knock from Tamim Iqbal. He took his time - Bangladesh were 30-odd for none in the first 10 overs but he's not looked back since and has given his side a great platform.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:37 British Summer Time 1 June 2017

    Tamim c Buttler b Plunkett 128 (261-3)

Why change your bat Tamim?! What a fine innings though. Almost carries his bat, but he's out to a cheap shot too. Huge top edge, the ball flying high and hard, keeper Jos Buttler is under it for a long time and safely catches it.

Huge ovation for Tamim Iqbal as he trudges off. That's a 166-run partnership too.

  13. Ban 261-2 (Tamim 128, Mushfiqur 79)published at 44.2 overs

Can Liam Plunkett stop the flow? Never a pretty time to be a fast bowler. Will that decision to drop Adil Rashid come back to bite England?

No boundaries in the over so far mind. Tamim changes his bat - knackered the old one?

  14. 'Ball has been vulnerable'published at 13:35 British Summer Time 1 June 2017

    Jonathan Agnew
    BBC Test Match Special

Jake Ball is looking vulnerable here. In fact, he's been looking vulnerable all day. When he was preffered to Rashid, it raised a few eyebrows.

  15. Ban 259-2 (Tamim 126, Mushfiqur 78)published at 44 overs

A slower ball from Ball, far too short to be bowling at the speed (or should I say lack of), Mushfiqur waits for it patiently and then square-cuts it for yet another four.

He will also be eyeing up a ton.

A thick outside-edge to third man for one to end the over.

  16. Postpublished at 13:33 British Summer Time 1 June 2017

That looked like a four all the way until Ben Stokes stopped it, one handed and on his knees. Even the Bangladesh supporters, who have fallen out with him, applaud the effort.

  17. Ban 253-2 (Tamim 126, Mushfiqur 73)published at 43.3 overs

Anything at eight an over and up will See Bangladesh past the 300 mark from here. They'll want a lot more than that though.

Jake Ball is driven away first up but Ben Stokes fields it superbly on the fence, saving two. Mushfiqur drives the second ball back into the stumps, but then Mushfiqur scoops it over the keeper's head. Genius. Four.

    What a shot!

  18. Watch: Tamim Iqbal with sixes in consecutive overspublished at 13:31 British Summer Time 1 June 2017

Two sixes, the first picking the spin of Moeen Ali then in the next over, guiding a wide one from Wood over long leg.

  19. Ban 247-2 (Tamim 126, Mushfiqur 66)published at 43 overs

These two have now put on over 150.

It's the highest third-wicket partnership at the Oval. But it nearly comes to an end as a mishit from Tamim falls just short of Stokes at long on.

A very good over from Plunkett, lots of variety.
