I don't think Pat Cummins is lightning-fast - he's not like Brett Lee when he was fresh and young. Players like Mitchell Johnson and Waqar Younis didn't need quick pitches to be fast.

New Zealand have got the perfect man to open the batting in Luke Ronchi. He's like Brendon McCullum in the way he plays.
Here is what turned out to be the final wicket of the day - Moises Henriques' uncomfortable stay at the crease was ended by Adam Milne, who finished with figures of 2-9.
Today was the first time Kane Williamson had scored a one-day hundred against Australia. It's also Luke Ronchi's first half-century in two years - he'd gone 37 matches without one.

Kane Williamson bucked the trend for choosing to bat first. Most international captains these days prefer to chase because they don't know what a good score is.
So, here's how the Group A table looks. A long way to go yet, but it's the top two in both groups that qualify for the semi-finals.

Spinners could well come into the game as this tournament goes on and the pitches get a little drier. It surprised me today that Adam Zampa didn't play for Australia, just to give him some confidence.
The umpires, sheltering under brollies, are out in the middle - and they've gone straight back in. I suspect we're close to this game being called off...
Injured England bowler Chris Woakes on how the side strain which ruled him out of the Champions Trophy happened: "I finished two overs but it was probably on the third or fourth ball of the second over that it felt like something had become tight in my side.
"I managed to finish the over but by the last ball I knew that something really wasn’t right. To a certain extent, it felt like someone was sticking a knife in my side. That was why I didn’t come back out.
"I knew yesterday that it wasn’t going to be good news. It was then a matter of seeing how bad it would be on the scan results."

England bowler Chris Woakes has been speaking to the media after being ruled out of the Champions Trophy with a side strain: "More than anything, it’s really frustrating. It’s a tough one to take, right at the start of a tournament which we have been building up to as a team for a while.
"We’ve had our eyes on the Champions Trophy for a while now as a team and we were coming into the tournament in good form.
