Ronchi c Maxwell b Hastings 65
And he's gone!
What a shame for New Zealand and for the neutrals. He looks to find gap with a drive but slices one straight to Maxwell at point.

It's like there's two games going on at the minute - a T20 at one end and a Test match at the other. It's brilliant to watch.
NZ 114-1
Starc! You need to catch them fella! Ronchi drives one to long-on and the Aussie makes a lazy attempt as he sticks his hands out.
What does Ronchi do next? Sends another one towards Starc, but this time he clears the man and goes for four.
And then what does Ronchi do after that? He goes straight. And he goes six.
I cannot express what a great innings this is, a joy to watch.
Luke Ronchi playing some expansive stuff.

It's been a great 50 from Ronchi. New Zealand will be over the moon with this start.
He raises his bat. Courtesy of a big swipe and an outside edge. With no slips, it goes through for four.
Well played, just 33 balls for his 50.
Will be interesting to see what pace New Zealand take this at with it being reduced overs.

That's Luke Ronchi. He just swings as hard as he can, regardless of where it will go. He just doesn't care. He's one of the most exciting players to watch. He's carrying on in that Brendon McCullum mode.
Ronchi 46, Williamson 21
Oh Ronchi! What a class act.
First he goes big, giving himself room and slapping one over third man for a maximum.
He then goes to pull one and gloves it over the keeper for a boundary.
Cummins has been expensive. He's gone for 38 from his four.

Ronchi almost fell over as he played that shot. It was one of those that he decided to hit as hard as he could without being bothered about the shot.
Ronchi shows his repertoire of shots, working one off his legs for four.
He then tries to whack one over long-off but didn't really middle it and they go through for a single.
Henriques with a fine one handed diving stop in the covers to end the over, definitely stopped a boundary there.

Feisty from Cummins who goes in short, ducked under by Ronchi.
Then some lovely stuff from the New Zealand opener. He drives on the up straight past the bowler and it races through for four.
Effortless, he just gave it a little punch.

One guy I love to watch bat is Luke Ronchi. Jimmy Anderson always said he looks like a better looking version of me! He's a real powerful hitter.
Ronchi 25, Williamson 16
Play and a miss first up. Ronchi trying drive one from Hastings and is lucky not to nick it.
A carve out to extra cover brings him a single.
Here we go ... New Zealand about to resume on 67-1 after 9.3 overs.
This match is now 46 overs per side.
So we'll be seeing some play again very shortly. In fact, the Australian fielders are lurking on the boundary ropes.
Remember, you can watch highlights of today's game on BBC Two at 00:20. One to stay up for.

Michael Winstanley: "The pay dispute has been sorted! Yaaaay!"
Sean Swift: Warner does his best Suarez impression.
Oval Pigeon: "Help, spidercam has captured me!"
Alex: Looks like Warner has been on the receiving end of a Hauduken.
In the meantime ... let us hear some of your entries for the picture caption competition.
N.B. I say competition, but you win nothing. Soz.
Some good news! Just 15 minutes to wait for some more cricket.
It will be 46 overs per side.
