    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Test Match Special

Henriques is a fine cricketer. He's another player that balances this side really nicely. He offers options with the bat and a great deal with the ball as well.

  2. NZ 152-2published at 24 overs

Change in the bowling as Moises Henriques is given a try.

A bit of footwork off his own bowling stops a potential boundary. Another economical over.

The 150 is up but you feel New Zealand need to pick up the pace again.

There's a few raindrops in the air. Please go away. Come back another day. After the Champions Trophy has finished.

  3. NZ 148-2published at 23 overs

Excellent from Head again. Just three from his over.

The highlight from the last six deliveries was Hastings at short fine-leg comically tumbling over as he tried to field one.

  5. NZ 145-2published at 22 overs

    Williamson 32, Taylor 19

    Hazlewood continues.

With both men at the crease scoring at less than a run-a-ball, a much needed boundary from Taylor as he cuts one just behind backward point.

Crowd have gone quiet. You know that as yesterday we couldn't hear any dialogue from the players being picked up the stumps mic. Today we can hear the Australian fielders chattering away.

    Ed Smith
Ex-England batsman on BBC Test Match Special

I sensed bringing Head on was a good plan. It's worked in this early over.

  7. NZ 138-2published at 21 overs

We're going to see spin for the first time as Travis Head comes in.

Williamson plays one off the hips, there's an easy single but there's a bit of hesitancy from both batters. A bit of pressure building here?

    Tidy over.

  9. NZ 134-2published at 20 overs

    Williamson 28, Taylor 12

You feel Australia are starting to gain some confidence in this one now.

A very, very good over from Hazlewood limits New Zealand to just the one.

We have 26 overs to go in this rain affected match.

Captain Steven Smith has his sunglasses resting on top of his baseball cap, but they're facing backwards. As if he has eyes in the back of his head.

  10. Postpublished at 13:51 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

    Jeremy Coney
Ex-New Zealand captain on Test Match Special

This partnership is up and running now. They're starting to get some momentum back into the wicket. New Zealand have to keep pushing ahead and create and post a total.

  11. NZ 133-2published at 19 overs

Mitchell Starc was doing well, bowling nice and tight in the first four balls.

But then he ruins it with a short and wide delivery to Taylor which is smashed to the ropes.

But Starc ends well, beating the outside edge with one that angles away from the batsman.

    Seven from the over.

  12. Watch: A drop, a six and two boundariespublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

Yes, the madness of the 15th over, with Luke Ronchi targeting Aussie paceman Pat Cummins. It has a bit of everything, thank me later.

  13. Watch: Henriques saves four runspublished at 13:46 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

A brilliant piece of fielding from Moises Henriques.

  14. NZ 126-2published at 18 overs

    Williamson 26, Taylor 7

Taylor's offered some width from Hastings and he punishes it with a cover drive for four.

No big hitting, just finding the gaps.

New Zealand manage to squeeze out a few more singles from the over.

  15. Postpublished at 13:43 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

    Jeremy Coney
Ex-New Zealand captain on Test Match Special

There's a freedom of spirit about Ronchi that I really enjoyed. This is the part now where New Zealand have to be careful. There's always a temptation, when you lose a wicket, to spend an amount of time getting in. I think there's a danger in consolidating.

  16. NZ 118-2published at 17 overs

So Mitchell Starc's dropped catch wasn't too costly in the end. And the big guy is brought back into the attack.

He has a mean-looking face on as kicks some dust away from his run up.

He bowls nice and tight as Australia start to put the brakes on this innings. Just two from it.

  17. Watch: Ronchi caught by Maxwellpublished at 13:41 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

But it could not last forever, as he hits one straight to point and Maxwell's grateful hands.

  18. Watch: Ronchi makes his 50published at 13:39 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

Some expansive shots got Ronchi to his half-century in 33 balls.

  19. Watch: Ronchi madnesspublished at 13:38 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

Some more Luke Ronchi making mincemeat out of the Aussie attack... Before he got out.

  20. NZ 117-2published at 16 overs

    Williamson 24, Taylor 0

Ross Taylor the new man in.

    Hastings has bowled very well.

Just three from the over and the important wicket. The pick of the Aussies, no question about it.
