Pakistan's Imad Wasim: "It's a bit of a slow surface but still a good batting track. Pace off the ball is key.

"My strength is wicket to wicket bowling and to make the batsmen make mistakes, sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't.

"We're a great fielding side, I don't know what happened in the last game. Today we showed we're a good fielding unit.

"If we play 50 overs we will win the game. We have to play positive."

Has been great to see Pakistan bowlers finding reverse swing today. Happens too rarely nowadays, when will the ICC accept that 2 new white balls has not helped the bowling side as intended?

Pakistan team are all high fives and hugs, over the moon with their performance and so they should be. They don't want to leave the field.

  4. SA 219-8published at 50 overs

Four from the final ball! Drilled through the covers. South Africa close on 219-8, Miller with 75. Pakistan will need 220 to win. They have been brilliant.

  5. SA 215-8published at 49.5 overs

Picks out the fielder at fine leg. No run. Only two from five balls. Morne would have got more. He should be livid...

  6. SA 215-8published at 49.4 overs

Hit at mid-off. Still Miller won't let Morne face. Spoilsport.

  7. SA 215-8published at 49.3 overs

This time Miller nails it. Good fielding on the boundary keeps it to two.

  8. SA 213-8published at 49.2 overs

Miller swings at and misses a slower ball. He should have let Morne have a go...

  9. SA 213-8published at 49.1 overs

Last over, bowled by Hasan Ali. David Miller turns down the single. He musn't fancy Morne Morkel...

It was a great catch, ran to his right, a good dive and he immediately rose to his feet and gestured to the crowd like Shahid Afridi used to.

You know Pakistan are playing well when they are taking catches like this. Miles, miles high from Kagiso Rabada, so much so it comes down with snow on it. Hasan Ali, mid-off, has to run to his right and dive as the ball swirls out of the sky. Brilliantly taken, then a celebration that asks the crowd for more noise. He's had quite a day.

  12. SA 213-7published at 48.5 overs

Now a slice from Rabada that flies to the third-man fence. A late flurry for South Africa.

Sheer power. Very full, Miller with weight on the back foot managed to crunch it over mid-off. He belted that. These modern players spend time in the gym now rather than the pub.

A boundary! Finally! When Mohammad Amir bangs one in, Rabada hooks for four to the massive boundary at mid-wicket. Amir should stick to the yorkers, like this one that nearly amputated Miller's toes.

South Africa haven't found the boundary since the 39th over. David Miller must be thinking about going big some time soon. Kagiso Rabada, another left-hander, has played some nice strokes but is finding the fielders. Only 18 deliveries to go. South Africa would bite your hand off for 215.

It's a good performance by Pakistan because they're delaying Millers knockout punch. Miller is eyeing a big finish but Pakistan have bowled full, they're reversing it and they haven't panicked.

    Miller 57, Rabada 8

A quick check around BBC towers suggests that travelling to the cricket in the boot of a car is quite common. Can honestly say that I've never done it. Have David Miller's toes done something to offend Mohammad Amir? They are being hunted mercilessly. Pace, reverse-swing. Have Pakistan been working on these yorkers? It's been quite a show.
