Virat Kohli has been at ease at the crease, almost as if he's having a net before Sunday's final.

    Ind 185-1

Virat Kohli is a better chaser than Paul Sinha, Mark Labbett and Anne Hegerty on a certain quiz show combined.

None of them can play a pull shot like this either.

The India skipper brings up his 42nd ODI half-century (he has a stunning 27 ODI hundreds) by swivelling quickly on his heels and turning his wrists through the ball to dispatch it to the fence.

Nikhil Jadva‏: Kohli's cover drives are just a work of magic.

  4. Ind 177-1published at 28 overs

Kohli just takes another single off the final ball of the over to keep the strike and move to 45 not out.

  5. Ind 176-1published at 27.4 overs

Does this count as a missed chance? Rohit Sharma skies one to Shakib Al Hasan, it's over the head of the sub fielder, who is running back but makes no attempt to dive for the ball.

First false shot all innings from Rohit.

I'm surprised Bangladesh haven't picked Mehedi in this tournament. He really impressed me against England in the winter, when he was named player of the series.

  7. Ind 173-1published at 27 overs

A really impressive over from Taskin, especially given the situation, as he concedes just one run.

Bangladesh need many, many, many more overs like that, plus some wickets, to put India under pressure though.

Each Virat Kohli cover drive is better than the last.

Dearie me, Virat Kohli is putting on a cover-drive masterclass here.

His latest rockets to the boundary as India also take four singles off the over. Coasting in style.

    Or this...

Sumptuous stuff from the India skipper.

Ta Amy. Any chance Bangladesh can spark a bit of a fightback here?

Not much chance with India, and specifically Virat Kohli, playing like this...

So, with India needing another 101 runs to win, I'll hand you over to Jack Skelton. In a bit.

  14. Ind 164-1published at 25 overs

    Target 265

Feels that way, doesn't it? You'd like to think that it's all set up for a cracking final on Sunday. Taskin's back, and Kohli just about avoids chopping onto his stumps as he jabs the bat at an off stump delivery. There's little width on offer from the bowler but there's enough temptation for Rohit to have a little play away from his body. He swings around on his foot and swipes at the air in annoyance.

Off-spinner Mosaddek Hossain is on for a twirl, to see if a change in pace can trip up Bangladesh. No, is the answer, Kohli and Rohit milking the singles for all they're worth. The India fans carry on their party in the stands.

Bangladesh needed to be more aggressive in their field placings early on. We didn't see any slips in place, even though they needed to take wickets.

  18. Ind 156-1published at 23 overs

    Rohit 78, Kohli 32

Imperious from Rohit Sharma. First a gorgeous drive, Rohit just opening his stance up and guiding the ball away, before he cuts viciously to add another two boundaries to India's total. Just the 17 runs from that Rubel Hossain over.

It's not just a canter, it's more of a trot for India now.

  20. Ind 148-1published at 22.3 overs

Here's Rubel Hossain, and there he goes, driven away gloriously to the boundary by Kohli. There wasn't even a hint of movement from any of the fielders in the covers - they knew that was going to the ropes the second Kohli connected with it. The India captain is racing along now, picking up a fine three as two fielders converge just inside the rope.
