Bangladesh will need to grab a couple of wicket early on, preferably one of them being Virat 'king of the chase' Kohli, otherwise you fear India could coast to this target.

They have scraped together a fair total though and we'll go through how they got there in highlight form over the lunch break...

India wrestled the initiative back to show their class. That little partnership between the spinners in the phase in the middle did a real good job to restrain Bangladesh when they looked like they'd get to a score of at least 300.

Bangladesh have scrambled themselves to a reasonable total. You would think it's not a match winning total against this powerful India line-up but it's definitely not game over, not by any means.

  4. Ban 264-7published at 50 overs

Another wild swipe from Taskin, who has in fairness scored about four times his average, brings a single to finish off a disappointing innings from Bangladesh that had promised so much.

Huge credit to India's bowlers for stifling the opposition. Their batsman will chase 265 for a place in the final against Pakistan.

  5. Ban 263-7published at 49.5 overs

Mortaza can only work it away for a single that he has to take at this stage. Taskin will face the final ball...

  6. Ban 262-7published at 49.4 overs

Mortaza swipes, bottom edges and it ricochets around before the batsman does the fielding to chuck it back to the bowler.

  7. Postpublished at 13:48 British Summer Time 15 June 2017

Ok Kumar is good to go - final three balls to come...

I wonder if he's rolled or jarred his ankle or something like that. He looks in some discomfort.

  9. Ban 262-7published at 49.3 overs

Mortaza digs out a full delivery and the Bangladesh pair takes on Jadhav's throw, which is wild enough for them to pick up two.

Well now, Kumar looks to have jarred his ankle during his follow through in that ball. He'll continue the over though from the looks of it...

  10. Ban 260-7published at 49.2 overs

Ugh, very wide ball from Kumar and it's duly signalled as such.

  11. Ban 259-7published at 49.2 overs

Mortaza swings wildly at a length ball, gets a bit on it as it dribbles into the leg side. Could've been a single but the skipper turns it down. He wants boundaries.

  12. Ban 259-7published at 49.1 overs

Taskin gets an important single to put his skipper back on strike against Kumar.

It's so important, at the end, that the captain and the bowler are on the same wavelength and the bowler is bowling to the field he's been set.

  14. Ban 258-7published at 49 overs

An unconvincing swipe from Taskin to finish - it hits the glove then shoulder before squirting away for a single.

How big can Bangladesh go off the final over?

  15. Ban 257-7published at 48.5 overs

Mortaza rocks back to bang Bumrah down the ground but the man on the rope sweeps up, just a single.

  16. Ban 256-7published at 48.4 overs

And again, superb death bowling from Bumrah, nailing a yorker. Dot ball.

  17. Ban 256-7published at 48.3 overs

Better from Bumrah, following Mortaza down leg. No run.

  18. Ban 256-7published at 48.2 overs

Hello, it really is raining fours. Mortaza stands and delivers, swiping away through the covers for four past the forlorn dive of Yuvraj Singh. Other fielders may have got there, Yuvraj is not one of them.

  19. Ban 252-7published at 48.1 overs

It's raining fours! Mortaza swings gamely at Bumrah and top edges a pull shot over the keeper for another boundary...

  20. How's stat?!published at 13:40 British Summer Time 15 June 2017

That was Taskin Ahmed's second four in ODI cricket, in his 28th game.
