More from India captain Virat Kohli: "Everyone desire's composure, not just me, but but the players too. We give our best every time we go out on the field and I'm really proud how we have done in the this tournament.
"We have often shown composure in pressure situations, but that is no guarantee. One team has to lose and today was our day to lose because the opposition did much better than us.
"Early wickets are never good, especially in a chase. We thought one big partnership would have set it up nicely. Pakistan had to earn their win and they made us make mistakes. We have no hesitation or shame to admit we didn't play our best game today."

Pakistan are haring off around The Oval outfield on their victory lap. Arms aloft, draped in the Pakistan flag, twirling around with the trophy aloft in the air. There's a huge crowd of fans applauding and cheering them as they continue their stroll around.

Sarfraz Ahmed races over to the trophy and lifts it high into the air, and he's instantly swamped by his players. They let out an almighty cheer before they head over to the massive sign that says 'Champions'. Which they are. They're all smiles and the support staff come in now for a big family picture.
Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed: "After the India match when we lost in the group stage, I told my boys the tournament hadn't finished yet. Credit goes to my boys. Fakhar is a great impact player, he played like a champion batsman today. Amir bowled brilliantly today but all my bowlers bowled really well. We have a young team and credit to my boys."

India on the way back to the dressing room before Pakistan get the trophy. Dhawan did stop for a selfie with a man in a Pakistan shirt, though.
I'm not a fan of these jackets. And they're all the same size! Which seems highly unfair. Mohammad Hafeez is absolutely swamped by his!
And here come the Pakistan players. They all receive a white jacket, a handshake and a medal, before they go gather on the podium behind the trophy.
India captain Virat Kohli: "I want to congratulate Pakistan first, they had an amazing tournament. The way they turned things around speaks volumes for the talent they have in their side.
"I'm disappointed but I have a smile on my face because I'm proud of how my team has performed in the tournament overall. They were more intense and passionate today, they deserved to win."

Here are the India players, coming up to collect their runners-up medals. They've spent quite a bit of time standing around congratulating the Pakistan players. Virat Kohli is the last to come up, and he gets to have a few words with Nasser Hussain too. He says Pakistan have had an "amazing tournament".

Shikhar Dhawan couldn't be less interested in his golden bat for the most runs scored in the tournament...
Hasan Ali goes home with the golden ball and the man of the series award. Thoroughly well deserved, he's been magnificent in the array of conditions Pakistan have played in in this tournament. Pace, accuracy and a nice mix of speeds.
India's Shikhar Dhawan gets the golden bat award. He finishes the Champions Trophy with 338 runs. That trophy is absolutely massive! Looks like the world's biggest chocolate bar.
