As someone who spends a lot of time grouching about terrible reviews, this is a moment of fine cricketing nous from Shadab Khan. Takes a lot for an 18-year-old to be this sure about a wicket, and to persuade his captain to use the sole review.

Have a feeling this will be much worse for India than it was for Pakistan recently while losing by 124 runs to the same team. Virat Kohli may now be pondering again over his decision to chase in a big final.

  3. Ind 55-5published at 14 overs

    Hasan 2-0-4-1

Brilliant from Pakistan. Really brilliant. To have India five down for 54 in 13 overs, when they're chasing such a mammoth total. It's been an all-round performance, the fielders backing up their bowlers. And Shadab Khan proves that point to perfection with a magnificent dive at backward point, leaping like a goalkeeper to cut off new man Hardik Pandya.

Dhoni went for a full-blooded shot and didn't look like he was going to reach the boundary and a great catch from Wasim.

  5. wicket

    Dhoni c Imad b Hasan 4 (Ind 54-5)

Dhoni's gone! That is a horrible misjudgement from the India keeper, pulling it straight to Imad at deep square leg. He's wandered straight into Pakistan's trap - Hasan banged it in short, Dhoni obliged with the pull, and the fielder snaffled it up.

    Yuvraj lbw b Shadab 22 (Ind 54-4)

It's out! What a review from Pakistan! Complete credit has to go to Shadab Khan. He knew that was out. Pitching in line and it's hitting middle stump about halfway up. Shadab's team-mates crowd round him as they celebrate. Nicely played!

It's definitely pad first - genuinely thought that had hit the bat first, Yuvraj had them so close together...

Leggie Shadab Khan is on, and he's struck Yuvraj on the pad! The bowler likes it, so Sarfraz obliges with the T sign...

Here's the third of Amir's wickets, dismissing Dhawan...

Before Yuvraj took a liking to Mohammad Hafeez's off spin.

  11. Ind 50-3published at 12 overs

That's the 50 up from India as Yuvraj takes a quick single. Meanwhile, we've dug out the scorecard from when India were in a similarly sticky situation against England in January 2017. India were reduced to 25-3 before 150 from Yuvraj, and 134 from Dhoni, saw India post 381-6. You can have a look here.

Hasan Ali's shoulder seems to be fine and he's given Yuvraj a glaring stare as he comes on to bowl. He is very aggressive and might rough them up a bit here.

  13. Ind 49-3published at 11.2 overs

The spin experiment has ended - here's the tournament's leading wicket-taker, Hasan Ali. Yuvraj pulls and the ball looks set for the boundary until Fakhar Zaman pulls off a cracking diving stop on the boundary. We're going to have a brief pause, though, as Yuvraj receives some treatment. It's not pleased Umpire Erasmus.

Some solace for Indian cricket fans is that their country is at least dominating Pakistan at one place in England - they're winning 6-1 in the Hockey World League semi-finals.

  15. Ind 47-3published at 11 overs

How long can Pakistan keep Amir bowling here? He goes cross-seam and it keeps Dhoni quiet, the batsman unable to get these fuller deliveries away. Maiden. It's such a clever bit of bowling.

If any team can win it from here it's India. Dhawan, Yuvraj and Dhoni all have the experience and capability to pull this one out of the bag but Amir is bowling superbly at the moment.

  17. Ind 47-3published at 10 overs

There's just under 18,000 ODI runs out in the middle now. Here's Mohammad Hafeez, with new man MS Dhoni leaning on his bat at the non-strikers. That'll be four for Yuvraj though, moving his feet and flaying the ball up and over the field to the boundary. A horrid full toss from Hafeez then gets the Yuvraj treatment, bunted down the ground for four, before he rounds off the over with a lovely cover drive. That's a pricey first over from the off-spinner.

Brilliant from Pakistan's point of view but India are now under pressure. High quality bowling from Pakistan. Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis are some of the greats but Amir is showing he has the same potential.

  19. Postpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 18 June 2017

Amir. That is magnificent. He took a bit of tap from Dhawan in the previous over and he's struck back in style, upping the pace and finding some extra bounce to get the wicket. It's just great to watch.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 9 overs

    Dhawan c Sarfraz b Amir 21 (Ind 33-3)

This is one of the best spells of fast bowling ever seen. Shikhar Dhawan is the latest to troop off after he pokes behind a simple catch for Sarfraz. India sliding towards defeat.
