Pandya doing the right thing - taking the attack to Pakistan to try and get a wobble in there.
What a strike that is! That's the second time Hardik Pandya has freed his arms, and he's swatted Shadab Khan into the stands. And again! That's gone over long-on this time, smashed flat and hard, and it's landed in front of two Pakistan fans, who take a quick selfie with the ball before throwing it back. A selfie!
Fakhar is restricting India really nicely here. Three dot balls and three singles are all Hardik Pandya and Ravi Jadeja can work away from this over.

My teenage son and I were locked in debate about who would likely win this match. He was quoting the Indian players’ form, and I was banking on Pakistan’s raw desire to win. Looks like the winner here will be the hungriest team, not the statistical best.

Shot! Hardik Pandya hits a ball cleanly. He rocks back into his crease and pummels the ball through the covers and to the boundary. He then gives his leg a little flex as he jogs to the other end of the wicket. A touch of cramp flaring up?
Here is that clatter of wickets that's left India in this precarious position. First, MS Dhoni fell...
And then Kedar Jadhav skied a delivery.
Sarfraz has thrown the ball to centurion Fakhar Zaman, because why not? Ooh, and he nearly gets a run out as Hardik Pandya wanders out of his crease, and Sarfraz is quick to swivel with the ball in hand.
I've been handed some cake, which means my day has pretty much peaked. Cricket and cake. I'm a simple soul. Here's Imad Wasim, but he's really struggling, and he's had to abandon this over. He's got a slight limp - he was cramping up when he was batting towards the end of Pakistan's innings. That's a blow for the spinner.

The atmosphere in Lahore is brilliant as families gather at home to break the fast and watch the match. Everyone is so happy. It's a miracle.
Pandya 24, Jadeja 2
Shot! That's fine work from Hardik Pandya, hammering a lofted drive over the ropes for India's first six. If you're going down, then go down swinging. There's a brief worry for India as Pandya has to stretch to get home, but he slid his bat in before Sarfraz whipped the bails off.

Target 339
Uppercut from Hardik Pandya! That's a delicate little shot, flying over Sarfraz's head and down to the ropes as Hasan Ali bangs it in a touch short. There's a stream of India fans leaving The Oval at the minute, wandering off down Harleyford Street, flags fluttering forlornly in the wind. You'd stay until the end, surely?

Shadab did the right thing by asking everyone to get out of the way so he could take the catch.
I thought India might have a tough time chasing this but I honestly didn't think it'd go like this. It's been ruthless from Pakistan.
Jadhav c Sarfraz b Shadab 9 (Ind 72-6)
Shadab strikes again! A massive swipe across the line from Kedar Jadhav and the ball spins high up into the air off the top edge. About four fielders converge but it's Sarfraz, captain and wicket-keeper, who yells at them all to get out of the way. He poises himself before taking the catch.

David McNaught: Don't feel so bad about England's tonking now.
Alan: The Pakistan bowlers have shown other sides how to do it.Wonderful display of variation and control.
Jadhav 9, Pandya 4
Hasan Ali bustles in, arms pumping, and Kedar Jadhav responds with a lovely flick off his pads for four. Hasan looks thoroughly irked.

Believe it or not, it's boiled over in the pavilion. Finger pointing and shouting between some India fans and a pair of Pakistan supporters. There's a steward in there and a chap in an MCC tie trying to calm everyone down, possibly by offering out free caviar.
Shadab 2-0-11-0
Shadab gifts Kedar Jadhav with a short, wide delivery that the batsman hoicks to the boundary with a lackadaisical pull. Other than that, it's a tight over but India stay alive to the single opportunities.
