Raut 46, Mandhana 90
With Anya Shrubsole having been taken for a six and three fours in that first powerplay over, Jenny Gunn returns to the attack - Smriti Mandhana goes deep again, but Katherine Brunt scampers round to cut it off on the first bounce. Gunn keeps her lines tight but India add three more singles - Mandhana is within 10 runs of her century.

When she's not bowling, keep an eye on Alex Hartley. She admits she's the weakest fielder in the England side, so often does fine leg to fine leg.
Did someone call for a partnership-breaker?
Thanks, Amy - it's not the start England wanted. But 25 overs is a long time in cricket...
And on that note, I'm off to track down some snacks. Mark Mitchener will take you through the next 10 overs.
Heather Knight will continue, and she's pushed into the covers for another couple. This is all about Smrti Mandhana though. Shes taken a liking to the England bowlers and the English conditions. Both pace and spin have been helped along to the boundary by the opener.
New Zealand v Sri Lanka (Bristol)
As England have just done with Heather Knight, New Zealand have just turned to their seventh bowler at Bristol - Sri Lanka still going along nicely at 79-1 from 22 overs.
Raut 42, Mandhana 88
Punam Raut is into the act now, down on one knee and half-scooping Shrubsole through fine leg for four. Nice bit of invention, and it's forced Shrubsole to change her line. She throws it wide and Raut leans into it to keep the strike ticking over. And that'll be four from Mandhana! A flowing strike, hitting Shrubsole back over her head, and the batsman just stands back and admires it. And rightly so. A stunning shot - and it's backed up with a swivel-pull for yet another boundary!

India have turned up to the party, haven't they? She's stayed on the front foot to play that shot.
Here's Anya Shrubsole - and there goes Anya Shrubsole! Six! That's glorious from Smriti Mandhana, picking up a length ball and just hoisting it over the ropes. If that's how she's going to play then this powerplay could be a touch uncomfortable for England...
Brunt's littlest fans are her nieces, I believe. They look pretty interested in proceedings too. Alex Hartley was about to continue but no, India have taken the powerplay early. Very early, actually - it doesn't normally get taken until about the 36th over.

There are two of those little girls with 'Brunt 26' shirts. Just about toddling, lovely blonde curls, probably relatives of Katherine. When they are shown on the big screen, the fast bowler has a huge smile on her face and is maybe even a little choked up.
Here's Heather Knight, kicking up her heels like a dressage pony as she gets to the crease, and she twirls down some short deliveries that Punam Raut works into the off side. England just haven't been able to keep that full length going.

How did you prepare to bat? Reading a novel like Mithali Raj?
I don't think I performed that well when I was too relaxed, so I normally had an energy drink to get me going. I was a restless waiter. Claire Taylor used to listen to classical music!
Raut 36, Mandhana 69
Here's left-arm spinner Alex Hartley. She drags the ball down and Punam Raut hoicks it away, the ball looking set for the boundary rope before Danni Wyatt dives across and knocks the ball away. She's a cracking fielder. Still, India don't allow Hartley to settle, Mandhana gliding the ball off the face of the bat for another couple. She has so much time to play off that back foot.
Here's Smriti Mandhana bringing her fifty up in style - from 45 balls - with a boundary.
Hazel 6-0-20-0
Cracking running from these two - this time it's Smriti Mandhana who drops, calls and then charges through for a sneaky single. There's then a brief pause as a cat - yes, a cat - holds up play! It's run onto the field with, er, its breakfast in its mouth. I don't think I need to be any more graphic than that. Another nudged single brings up India's 100.

The gap between the big teams and the smaller teams is so much closer than before, in terms of the chances of England or Australia losing to one of the lesser sides. Now you think it can happen.
Raut 31, Mandhana 63
The boundaries aren't coming as quickly for India but they're keeping the singes going. Punam Raut drops and runs, and Nat Sciver fumbles at mid-wicket as they dart through. That's a lovely little tickle from Smriti Mandhana, working a delivery off her pads down to the fine leg boundary for four.
