    Breaking

    Derbyshire 363 & 190-5 drew with Nottinghamshire 229 & 349

So so close, yet so far for Derbyshire as the weather beats them to the punch.

Searching for their first Championship victory since July 2015, the visitors did absolutely everything they could on the final day to claim victory.

After the morning session was washed out, Tom Taylor bowled brilliantly to dismiss the hosts for 349.

Set a target of 216 runs from 49 overs, a brilliant 61 from Wayne Madsen and an unbeaten 31 from Gary Wilson took them to the brink of a famous win, but sadly the rain won and saved Notts.
