  1. Four overs to go....published at 18:01 British Summer Time 5 June 2017

    Northamptonshire (338 & 179-4) need 26 more runs to beat Durham (166 & 376)

Paul Coughlin sends down a ball that's too short and is no balled. Not the time to give away two runs and a delivery if you want to avoid defeat.

Josh Cobb and Rory Kleinveldt rotate the strike neatly for the rest of the over.

26 more to win now off 24 balls.

  5. Play to restart at Trent Bridgepublished at 17:53 British Summer Time 5 June 2017

    Derbyshire (363 & 180-4) need 36 more runs to beat Nottinghamshire (229 & 349)

    Northamptonshire (338 & 158-4) need 40 more runs to beat Durham (166 & 376)

Josh Cobb survives being run out as he takes a quick single off Paul Coughlin.

But, the next ball Rob Keogh skies a ball high into the dark skies, Coughlin does tremendously well to get underneath it and hold on to the catch.

Northants now need 40 off 36 balls.

    Derbyshire (363 & 180-4) need 36 more runs to beat Nottinghamshire (229 & 349)

It's seeming more and more unlikely that we'll be getting back out at Trent Bridge, which feels unbelievably cruel on Derbyshire.

  8. wicket

    Northamptonshire (338 & 158-3) need 46 more runs to beat Durham (166 & 376)

Is this a twist in the tale?

Northants skipper Alex Wakely is run out going for a second off Barry McCarthy.

Keaton Jennings' brilliant throw in from the boundary sees him stranded short despite a despairing dive.

Josh Cobb the new man in for the visitors.

Gary Wilson is taking the attack to the Notts bowlers, hitting Samit Patel and Luke Fletcher to the boundary rope in consecutive overs.

    Dave Bracegirdle

Thrilling conclusion now seems likely at Trent Bridge, where Derbyshire have lost a fourth wicket in pursuit of 216.

Wayne Madsen had played beautifully for his 61 but then a rush of blood saw him sky Samit Patel to deep backward point, where Brett Hutton has taken a magnificent diving catch.

Alex Hughes (17 not out) and Gary Wilson are at the crease with Derbyshire 145-4 needing 71 from 19 overs.

Derbyshire's task just got a little harder against the current Division Two leaders.
