  1. wicket

WICKET Wagg c Elliott b Woakes 25published at 15.3 overs

    Glamorgan 120-7

A slower ball from Chris Woakes and it is the end of Graham Wagg. He picks out Birmingham captain Grant Elliott.

Wagg is absolutely furious at himself, kicks out at his bat, a man who knows his team's hopes may have just gone.

  3. 'A bit of magic'published at 13:31 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

    Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special

That's a bit of magic from the bowler.

The ball almost trickles back onto the stumps.

Interestingly Rudolph had a good chat to Graham Wagg before walking off - he wouldn't have been telling him off, just giving him some advice.

  4. wicket

WICKET - Rudolph run out 65published at 14.4 overs

    Glamorgan 117-6

Is that the game gone for Glamorgan? Smart thinking from Aaron Thomason and the danger man Jacques Rudolph is gone.

Thomason bowls, Graham Wagg sends it back to him, Thomason picks up the ball, quickly swivels and throws it at Rudolph's stumps. The Glamorgan captain was backing up, is caught out of his ground and is gone.

  5. Watch a Rudolph sixpublished at 13:27 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

And this has been one of the best shots of the Glamorgan innings, as Rudolph launches Jeetan Patel away for six.

  6. Glamorgan 112-5, chasing 176 to winpublished at 14 overs

    Rudolph 60, Wagg 23

Jeetan Patel has taken 20 wickets in this tournament, but none in this match. His four overs have come and gone, without any success, bowling figures of 0-27 for him.

Glamorgan will be glad to see the back of him.

Jacques Rudolph swipes away to the off side for four more. Glamorgan need 70 off 42 balls. Still possible. Birmingham are the favourites, but this game still has some life in it.

The atmosphere was raucous about half-an-hour ago, but that's now simmered down into a hum.

The crowd are engrossed by this game.

  10. Wagg makes six 'look easy'published at 13:21 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

    Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special

The bat swing from Wagg is so simple - when you see players hit a stroke like that you think it looks easy.

This partnership's just giving them a little bit of hope here.

  11. Glamorgan 96-5, chasing 176 to winpublished at 12 overs

    Rudolph 53, Wagg 14

Olly Stone, who has been bowling at a maximum on 92 miles per hour, is on and his second ball of the over nearly goes for a four. However, there is some excellent fielding from Adam Hose, who dives full-length to get to the ball just before reaching the boundary.

But in the final ball, Wagg launches Stone over long-on for a much, much-needed six for Glamorgan. We're going to be seeing some fireworks in the next few overs if Glamorgan are to pull this one out of the fire. Don't go anywhere.

Glamorgan may have weather forecaster extraordinaire Sian Lloyd on their side, but I feel they'll need more than that if they're to have any chance of reaching the final!

  13. Glamorgan 84-5, chasing 176 to winpublished at 11 overs

    Rudolph 50, Wagg 4

Nine overs left for Glamorgan. An uphill challenge.

  14. 50 runs

50 for Rudolphpublished at 10.5 overs

    Glamorgan 83-5

We are into the second half of the Glamorgan innings and they are going to have to produce something special to make it into the final later on.

If they are to win, then Jacques Rudolph, as Michael Vaughan says, is the vital man. He reaches his 50 off 30 balls, a much-needed contribution, including seven fours and one six.

  15. Rudolph holds key for Glamorganpublished at 13:14 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

    Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special

The Glamorgan skipper, can he play a remarkable innings?

He's played beautifully hasn't he. Can someone stay with him?

He's lovely to watch, Jacques Rudolph - there's a huge amount of skill involved in his play.

  16. Glamorgan 76-5, chasing 176 to winpublished at 10 overs

    Rudolph 46, Wagg 2

A direct hit from Birmingham's Olly Stone gives Graham Wagg a panicky moment. After a review, television pictures show that he has just about made it home and he survives.

Rudolph then launches Jeetan Patel into the stands for a rare Glamorgan six. He is now just four runs from his half-century.

  17. 'A soft dismissal'published at 13:09 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on Test Match Special

That's a really soft dismissal from Cooke.

A big player from Glamorgan goes again - he's looking to work it into the leg side, but he can only lob it to mid-wicket.

The one positive for Glamorgan is Jacques Rudolph, who's still at the crease.

  18. wicket

WICKET Cooke (c Sibley b Elliott) 10published at 9 overs

    Glamorgan 67-5

Birmingham Bears captain Grant Elliott brings himself into the attack and gets a wicket with his final ball of his first over.

It is a soft one as well. Chris Cooke spoons one in the air and Dominic Sibley, running in from the deep mid-wicket boundary can easily take the catch.

Glamorgan captain Jacques Randolph is running out of batting partners.

  19. 'An aggressive and attacking bowler'published at 13:06 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on Test Match Special

Jeetan Patel is such an experienced campaigner - he's played in all sorts of games and knows all sorts of conditions.

Not only is he economical, but he's an aggressive and attacking bowler.

  20. Glamorgan 60-4, chasing 176 to winpublished at 8 overs

    Rudolph 37, Cooke 5

Jeetan Patel's first over was a costly one, conceding 11 runs, but the man who has 20 wickets in this competition is back into the attack in the eighth over.

And that over will have pleased captain Grant Elliott with only one run conceded off of it.

Birmingham Bears wicketkeeper Tim Ambrose wants an lbw decision to get rid of Chris Cooke in the final ball of the over, but the umpire, rightly, thinks nothing of the appeal.
