The new man is Colin Ingram. He's had a pretty decent tournament so far.

Glamorgan's Colin Ingram has hit more sixes than any other batsman in this season's T20 Blast.

  2. Glamorgan 13-1published at 1 over

    Rudolph 9, Ingram 0

One wicket down, three boundaries. Fair to say a lively first over from Chris Woakes.

  3. 'A massive wicket'published at 12:36 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

That's a massive wicket for the Bears, and a big wicket for Chris Woakes.

That's what they needed, to set the tone with the ball.

Donald's strike rate is big, so he's a massive player for Glamorgan.

    Glamorgan 5-1

Just what Birmingham needed, in only the fourth ball of the innings.

Aneurin Donald pulls one away, powerfully heading to the boundary, but Sam Hain makes up a lot of ground, throws himself to the right, gets a hand to it and can then take the catch at the second attempt. Great stuff.

So here we go for Glamorgan. Chris Woakes has the ball in his hand and Jacques Rudolph gets ready to face. Aneurin Donald is the man at the other end.

Oh dear, a steward in front of the Eric Hollies stand has just confiscated a couple of beach balls.

Huge boos ring out from the Hulk Hogans, jockeys and sailors.

Edgbaston is packed, bathed in sunshine, and awash with colour. A magnificent sight.

Dominic Sibley made 27 for Birmingham, before being caught by David Miller off the bowling of Colin Ingram, which you can see again here.

So, Glamorgan need to get to 176 to reach the final later on today.

It was a breathtaking start for Birmingham Bears with Ed Pollock only needing 23 balls to reach a half-century.

But Glamorgan did well to peg Birmingham back as they fell from 65-0 to 93-4. Grant Elliott (32) and Colin de Grandhomme (30) got the scoreboard ticking over again, but some quick wickets at the end of the innings left Birmingham short of what they would have been hoping for.

Birmingham Bears' Sam Hain, who scored nine in that innings, tells BBC Radio 5 live sports extra: "With the start we got, we would have liked a bit more, but I think we are just about par and we have to go out with the ball and get the job done.

"Ed Pollock was brilliant up top. You don't judge a pitch until both teams have batted so we will see what happens.

"To play in this is an awesome experience and I'm really enjoying it so fingers crossed we can get the job done."

Runs on the board are nice, but it has been a momentum shift. It looked like Glamorgan would be chasing 195.

The final two balls yield two wickets for Glamorgan - Jeetan Patel, better known for his bowling, is dismissed first ball.

Then Chris Woakes is run out trying to eek one extra one from their innings.

Glamorgan have had much the better of the closing stages of this Bears innings.

The Welsh side will need 176 to reach the final at Edgbaston.

    Michael Vaughan

Good work from the keeper, it was on the half-volley, he gathered it nicely and was composed. In T20 cricket you can sometimes panic, but he was in full control then.

    Birmingham Bears 174-7

Aaron Thomason thinks he can make a quick single but a wonderful throw from the Glamorgan throw and quick piece of work from the wicketkeeper sees him walk.

    Birmingham Bears 172-6

A lot of fours from the Bears - but they've lacked sixes in recent overs, after such an electric start.

  17. Birmingham Bears 169-6published at 19 overs

    Thoamson 13, Woakes 0

England all rounder Chris Woakes is at the crease - the Bears could do with a touch of international class right now.

Michael Hogan, 36, to bowl the final over - expect fireworks.

  18. 'Clever bowling'published at 12:16 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

    Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special

A good catch, clever blowing, De Grandhomme was thinking of a yorker, but when you have that extra pace you can throw in that variation and that is why he spoons it to deep mid-wicket.

  19. wicket

WICKET de Grandhomme (c Donald b de Lange) 30published at 18.4 overs

    Birmingham Bears 164-6

This is not how the Bears would like their penultimate over to go.

Not only does Colin de Grandhomme get caught by Aneurin Donald off Marchant de Lange - but they have just two runs off the first four balls of the over.

    Pressure on.

  20. Birmingham Bears 162-5published at 18 overs

    de Grandhomme 29, Thomason 9

A cracking over for the Bears - not so much for Glamorgan bowler Graham Wagg, who's gone for 41 off just three overs.

There's an unnecessary wide thrown in there as well.

Boundaries are beginning to become commonplace once more - 17 off the over.
