It's an absolutely gorgeous morning at Edgbaston.

Perhaps this is what inspired the tropical fruit selection in the media box?

Sport's journalism is a very healthy business these days!

  2. 'An awesome balance of youth and experience'published at 10:55 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

Birmingham Bears captain Grant Elliott tells Sky Sports: "We would have had a bowl as well.

"There have been some exciting players that have joined us mid-season and we have an awesome balance of youth and experience.

"We have just brought Woakesy (Chris Woakes) in and the boys have plenty in the tank for today. We have changed as a team throughout the competition and are a team that can chase 200."

Was he out? Whether you thought he was caught on the boundary by Surrey's Rory Burns or not, Grant Elliott was reprieved and played a captain's innings to get Birmingham Bears to Finals Day.

Chasing more than 200 for victory, Elliott and fellow New Zealand international Colin de Grandhomme got their side over the line against a star-studded Surrey team.

The Bears last won the tournament in 2014 and were semi-finalists two years ago.

  4. 'We have worked hard to get into this position'published at 10:52 British Summer Time 2 September 2017

Glamorgan captain Jacques Rudolph tells Sky Sports: "It is obviously a big day for us, it looks a good wicket and with our bowling line-up we think we can get some early wickets.

"It is a big day for the club and we have worked hard to get into this position. I have been very happy with the way we have set up - we have defended and chased well and I hope it goes well today.

"This is potentially my last day in T20 cricket so hopefully it will go well."

Much was made of David Miller's last-minute dash from South Africa to feature in Glamorgan's quarter-final against Leicestershire.

In the end, he wasn't required to bat as the Welsh side cruised to a nine-wicket win over the Foxes.

    This is Glamorgan's first appearance in a T20 semi-final since 2004.
