And that, as they say, is that. Reports of the death of women's Test cricket are greatly exaggerated - we've witnessed a competitive game, it's just a pity that the pitch offered so little a chance of an outright victory, with only 21 wickets falling in four days to go with the 934 runs.
The players clearly love the format, the crowds will come - it's a format which can still thrive in the right conditions.
