Why would Dawid Malan not cash in and get his hundred from the part-time leg spin of Steve Smith? I know this England team aren't particularly bright off the field but I thought they were fairly bright on it! Smith bowled at least a dozen balls he could have worked singles off.

It's very full - a bit like this morning - and Malan didn't execute that drive well. Third slip palmed it in front of a diving Steve Smith. Malan's got plenty to think about...

A dropped catch. Mitchell Starc is bang on the money first up and Dawid Malan toe-ends it into the slips. Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft were both there and it was dropped!
Here we go - Australia have the new ball with 35 minutes of play left. Mitchell Starc is back into the attack. If Australia can take one or both of these wickets they will be pleased.
