It was a difficult one due to how high it was and how powerfully it was struck but that is a chance gone begging.

Another chance down! Again it's difficult and Moeen can't cling on.
The off-spinner bowls a full toss, Finch drills the ball back it him and it flies back at about head height but the ball slaps into Moeen's palm and away for a single.
Finch gets away with another.
Finch 59, Marsh 12
More good bowling to finish the over from Liam Plunkett. He has bowled 21 dots in his five overs. Aaron Finch is ticking along but some good bowling is restricting him.

That was a difficult chance. It would have been a great catch.
Liam Plunkett is back into the attack and that brings a false shot from Mitchell Marsh. Another diving effort from Eoin Morgan at extra cover but just out of his grasp. Morgan was at full-stretch in mid-air. No blame can go his way despite his getting a finger to the ball.
Run rate 5.45
As I just said there is so much space to run twos and threes around the MCG. Finch collects a couple off Moeen through the covers and Alex Hales' throw from the boundary bounces twice before landing in Jos Buttler's gloves.
A decent over from Moeen. Just three runs from it.

Matt: If Jake Ball has 150kph+ pace up his sleeve you have to wonder why he was ignored for the rest of the Ashes, and replaced by very average medium pace. Anyone?
Finch 57, Marsh 10
After that six the Aussies continue to milk Rashid into the massive spaces in the MCG outfield. We're into that middle period of the innings. Do the batsmen stick or twist?

A fine 50 for Aaron Finch, following up on the last time he played England at the MCG when he scored a century during the World Cup.
Oooooh. Gasps from the crowd as a delivery from Moeen doesn't turn and goes narrowly past the outside edge of Marsh's bat. Marsh responds by coming down the pitch and trying to take the attack to Moeen but can only manage a single.
Finch on strike on 49 and a regulation single takes him to a well-made fifty. Warm applause from the stands.

It will be interesting to see how this pair play this next period. Mitch Marsh went after Moeen Ali in the Test series but Australia have lost three wickets. Will they rotate the strike or take risks?
A good response from England's leggie. Tidy and a bit of turn with one slip in place.
We're going to see spin from both ends now. Moeen Ali hands his cap to the umpire. Can he put that shocker of a Test series behind him?
Whack!
Straight after the drinks break Aaron Finch clubs Adil Rashid through the leg side for four, almost taking the square-leg umpire's head off in the process.
There was a fielder back on the boundary but he didn't stand a chance. Just too much power.

Jonathan France: Having followed England throughout the winter it feels like I’ve seen more wickets in these first 16 overs than I did throughout the Ashes Test series.
Finch 41, Marsh 8
Mitchell Marsh is the new batsman by the way and the all-rounder collects his first boundary in fortunate fashion.
Plunkett gets one to zip off the pitch again with a bit of extra pace and the ball takes Msrsh's glove and runs down to fine leg. It looked like Marsh was trying to get out of the way of that but he adds four more nonetheless. After two centuries in the Test series England know Marsh can be dangerous.
Eoin Morgan will be delighted as England head to drinks with three wickets in the bag but the job is by no means done.

When you see Mark Wood charging in and bowling 90mph - it's something we could've done with in the Tests, but he was still recovering from injury. Hopefully he's now completely recovered and can be a big part of the New Zealand series.
That's still a good over from Adil Rashid. Just two runs from it, one a leg-bye. He gets a polite applause from the MCG crowd. The stands are filling up a little but there are still masses of empty seats. It's probably still a sizable crowd by English standards but it never looks good when this massive stadium is not full.

Oh, it's missing leg by quite a way in the end. It was the googly but didn't look to be turning that much.
Not as close at it first looked, according to the ball-tracker.
The googly from Adil Rashid is shown to be turning a long way past leg stump. We haven't seen a ball turn as far as that was suggesting all day.
England lose the review. Finch survives.
