I don't agree with forgetting birthdays as you get older. Just celebrate you've made it for another year. Glass half full!

Matt Arnot: Leach is bowling tidily but without providing any threat. Bit trickier for him than bowling on his absolute bunsen of a home track, methinks.
Many is the demand from irate cricket fans to "sack the lot of 'em" after the latest failure.
Well, after failing to qualify for the World Cup despite playing the Qualifier on home soil, Zimbabwe are reported to have done just that., external
Captain Graeme Cremer, the entire coaching staff and chief selector have all been given their marching orders, according to media reports.

Wes Spearman: Watling and CdG showing England how to play quick short pitched bowling with ease.
For those of you wondering about Stuart Broad's change in action, this is what he posted on Instagram back in February.

An intriguing session, in keeping with a cracking Test match so far.
Can England hit back after tea? To guide you through the final session, here's Amy Lofthouse.

This is certainly making my 12-hour night shift go better than usual.

So just the one, admittedly crucial, wicket for England in that second session as James Anderson removed Kane Williamson, the Kiwi captain flicking one down leg through to Jonny Bairstow.
Since then, Colin de Grandhomme and BJ Watling have battled with admirable grit, the former scoring rapidly before showing more patience, with the latter digging in superbly against hostile short-pitched bowling.
They've taken New Zealand from real trouble at 36-5 to the much more respectable 123-5. Still in trouble but very much back in the game.

Wood bangs it in short and De Grandhomme pulls to deep square for one.
Watling then has to fend off a few well-directed bumpers in at his arm-pit. Wood is finding a bit of venom but Watling gets in behind well.
Wood goes a tad fuller and beats Watling's uncertain fend.
Last ball before tea...it's down the leg side and Watling lets it go through to Bairstow.
Joe Root is wisely taking himself off after that dire over.
Mark Wood is back on for a final blast before tea.
Last over of the session - can England pick up a wicket?

It's not obvious where you'd go if it did start to rain here. You get wet.
Aggers adds: You could shelter under the trees, or run to the Botanic Gardens.
De Grandhomme 52, Watling 40
Much tidier stuff from the full-time spinner as Leach wheels through five dot balls before De Grandhomme pushes it to cover for one.

That's a real bonus for BJ Watling.
And Root's first ball is a ropey one down leg. But it's so wide De Grandhomme doesn't get to it before he clips another leg-side delivery for one.
Yet another one down leg from Root, who is going round the wicket, and Watling sweeps it away for four.
Yuck. A dross final ball that is full and wide and Watling swats it away for another four.
England just drifting to the tea break.
Watling defends the last couple of balls from Leach.
England are going for double spin - captain Joe Root is bringing himself on.

Colin de Grandhomme reached 31 from 33 balls, but took another 42 deliveries to reach his half-century.
And there is the half-century for Colin de Grandhomme, tapping through the covers for one.
He gave it a good biff when he first came in and raced to 30 but has shown more patience since to steadily accumulate in this important partnership with BJ Watling.

I think Cook sometimes plays in goal when England play football as a warm-up.
De Grandhomme tries to slap Leach through the covers but he hasn't reckoned for the notorious athleticism of Alastair Cook, who produces a fine diving stop.
