Can England make it 3-0 or will Australia hit back?

What do you make of Australia going with Aaron Finch at number five again? Does it not just make the top order weaker to plug a flaw in the middle order? They'll be hoping he makes more than a duck this time, of course.

What will England post on this fine Trent Bridge batting surface?

England have posted a huge score in the past and also chased down big scores. It's the best batting strip in the country for the ability to strike the ball. The batsmen will lick their lips and the bowlers will be wary. Whoever bats the best will win - it's as simple as that.

England captain Eoin Morgan, speaking at the toss: "We would've done the exact same, we prefer chasing and it looks a fantastic wicket.

"But we'll look to post a good score and defend it now.

"There are challenges for both batsmen and bowlers here so it'll be an intriguing game.

"We did think about playing Tom Curran as the extra bowler but we've gone well at this ground with this team before so we went for the same balance."
