Adil Rashid is on strike, and gets four from his first ball!

It's full, at the stumps, and Rashid opens up the face of the bat and clonks him away. Kohli's face is a picture.

Five catches for MS Dhoni, as Liam Plunkett tries to scoop the ball over his shoulder and ends up guiding it towards the India wicketkeeper.

  7. Eng 194-7published at 19.2 overs

That's excellent running from Liam Plunkett, and he nabs himself two from a clip off his legs.

Wide from Siddarth, and Chris Jordan swings his arms and pushes a single away.

It's just a flick of the wrists. He doesn't try to hit it too hard.

Liam Plunkett's having none of this.

The first ball he faces is full, tempting, and promptly carved away for six.

It's a really good yorker. Willey has dug it out, but only got enough bat on it to play it on to the stumps. England are really slowing up.

    Chopped on!

That's really good from Umesh Yadav. Full, straight, at the stumps, and David Wiley gives it a little tickle to help it on its way.

David Willey and Chris Jordan are going to have to push England over the 200 mark.

They bunt a couple of singles off Umesh Yadav to get themselves off the mark.

That's done him for pace again. Pandya is using the change-ups well, as if he is quicker than England expect. It's 86mph. Not express, but lively enough.

    Bairstow c Dhoni b Hardik 25 (Eng 181-6)

    Famous last words.

Hardik Pandya's first over went for 22 runs, but he's recovered well to clock figures of 4-38. It's a decent delivery from the bowler and Jonny Bairstow, stretching to reach it, gets a thick edge through to MS Dhoni.

  19. Eng 181-5published at 17.5 overs

    Clever from Jonny Bairstow.

He went charging past Ben Stokes to ensure he kept the strike, then clatters a slower ball from Hardik Pandya for four.

That's very well bowled. Stokes struggled in that over. He was trying to hit through the leg side, but it skewed through the off side, which suggests it might have skidded on quicker than he thought.
