    Target 199

Have you ever wondered where that trumpet ditty comes from? You know the one, heard in the IPL or whenever India are playing limited-overs matches. It's the intro to a song called En Er Mundo. I'm pretty sure I first heard it associated with the Argentina rugby team.

David Willey has beaten him twice in two balls, but Rohit has decided he's not going to let him settle.

What a stroke this is. Rohit effortlessly picks Willey off his toes for six over mid-wicket.

That is why England like David Willey with the white ball - he's always asking questions. That was a fraction too high.

  7. Ind 0-0published at 0.1 overs

Swing right away for Willey, back into Rohit. Hits the pad, appeal. Looks to be heading down the leg side.

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma to open the innings for India. David Willey with the new ball. 199 to win. Series on the line...

Have you ever played hot car? Jumper on, windows up, heating on full tilt in the height of summer. Rob Ferley did it from Durham to somewhere down south, then missed the game because he was dehydrated.

Thank you, Lofters. This would be the biggest successful runchase by any team against England in T20 cricket. I think they'll get them, too...

India will be out in about 10 minutes to try and chase down 199 and win the T20 series.

Stephan Shemlit will take you through their innings. In a bit.

Think England are 30 or 40 runs short. Roy and Hales dismissals were completely brainless and will cost us.

  15. England will 'learn a lot' from India chasepublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 8 July 2018

England opener Jason Roy, who made 67 off 31 balls: "I love batting with Jos. We're free, open players and we enjoy each other's company in the middle. It's been fun. The last tow games I've let myself down a bit so I tried to play straight.

"We've got a total we're happy to try and defend. We would have liked a bit more but they bowled extremely well towards the end. We're still going to learn a lot from how we perform today."

Jason Roy was England's top scorer, thrashing an astonishing 67 from 31 balls.

There was a nice cameo from Jonny Bairstow, too.

It's just a shame that it ended so quickly...

India will back themselves to chase this down. It will be difficult for England. India's seamers struggled during the powerplay, but clawed it back using their variations. England will have to learn from that.

Jordan run out (Dhoni) 3 (Eng 198-9)

    That'll be the run-out!

Adil Rashid misses the ball but runs anyway. MS Dhoni takes aim and throws down the stumps with Chris Jordan well short of his ground.

India need 199 to win the series.
