That is another innings from Rohit Sharma which made batting look so easy.
Target 269
Rohit is a master exponent of the late cut and it's this stylish stroke that brings him a 47th ODI fifty. Will he add a century to his magnificent unbeaten hundred in the deciding T20 last weekend?

Rakesh: This Indian team is a fearless bunch of guys who know how to get it done. Those guys in the dressing room must be as calm as any one of us.
Target 269
The aforementioned Bairstow is being kept busy in the outfield and hauls in one to prevent another boundary for Kohli off Rashid. India have 17 fours and a six to date.

This must be a horrible feeling to be in as a fielding side. They know, from a long way out, what's going to happen - unless something incredible happens.
Target 269
England have four of the top five ODI runscorers in 2018. Prior to this match Kohli was sixth with 558 - and that from only six innings, with Jonny Bairstow's 864 taking 16 knocks. The India skipper has three centuries already this year. Stokes ensures a second successive over without a boundary, something of a pyrrhic victory.

You know it's a good delivery when Virat respects it and gets that forward defence out. He's so delicate and quick on his feet.
Target 269
TMS commentator Charles Dagnall has moles..in his garden. He's done the mountain joke. My problem is gulls. Nothing funny about those "blighters" - especially at 03:30 BST. Any suggestions for either menace gladly received. England cannot combat the menace of Rohit and Kohli and the partnership extends to 67.

It's been a feature of India's tour, not over-hitting the ball - KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and now Virat Kohli, beautiful.
Just the 147 needed with nine wickets remaining and 32 overs left. Is there a way back for England? Adil Rashid is going to try to find one.

Christian Evans: India will complete this run chase inside 40 overs, let alone 50. Absolute cruise control.
Thanks Amy, I don't think the run-rate is going to be a problem for India.
Target 269
Virat Kohli's really rather good, isn't he?
A beautiful drive goes flying past Ben Stokes and into the ropes for the India captain's fourth four. He follows it up with a swatted pull, keeping a Stokes short ball away from his face and adding another one to the total.
Right, I'm off for a break. Here's Jamie Lillywhite.
Ben Stokes is coming back into the attack, replacing Liam Plunkett and his figures of 4-0-17-0.

This week, the team discuss their respective adiration for Kuldeep Yadav and pose the question: will British Asian fans who love the England football side ever feel the same about the national cricket team?

Excellent bit of work from Jonny Bairstow, charging round on the boundary and basically jumping on a cut from Virat Kohli. Great awareness, too - his foot is about to slip into the boundary rope as he stops the ball with his hand, and Bairstow has enough nous to let go of the ball as he touches the rope.
Just the three runs from the latest Adil Rashid over.

That was the 1,000th ODI boundary of Virat Kohli's career.
This is following a pattern.
Five tidy deliveries, and then the final one is pushed for four. This time it's Virat Kohli who flicks his wrists and plonks the ball down towards fine leg. That's the 50 partnership up for this pair too, from 49 deliveries.

It's always easier chasing a target you know you should be able to get with relative ease, on a good batting surface - and they're in great form!
