Pete Ransom: It's early in the season but I've not seen many better centuries than Sarah Taylor for England today. Fast scoring without looking like she's taking many risks. Brilliant to watch.

  2. Eng 305-4published at 47.2 overs

Wyatt uses Ismail's pace against her, jamming her bat down to guide a four through third man before a tip-and-run single gets Taylor back on strike.

    Phil Long
    TMS statistician

That's the 11th time in ODIs England have passed 300 - and five of those have been since Mark Robinson took over.

  4. Eng 300-4published at 47 overs

Wyatt, one of England's quickest between the wickets, is off the mark with a quick single. Three overs to go.

    Knight c Ntozakhe b Kapp 24 (Eng 299-4)

An important supporting cameo - 24 from 23 balls - is ended as Heather Knight steps across and tries to flick the ball to the boundary but gives short fine leg a straightforward catch.

    Danielle Wyatt is next in.

  6. WATCH: Taylor becomes England's second centurion of the daypublished at 16:01 British Summer Time 12 June 2018

Here's one for Sarah Taylor's fans to rewind and watch again - how she brought up her century on her home ground.

  7. Eng 297-3published at 46 overs

    Taylor 117, Knight 22

Taylor's bat whistles through the air like a flashing blade, but even though it only gets a faint touch, it deceives keeper Lizelle Lee and disappears for four.

This is now the highest women's ODI score on this ground.

Issy Savin de Larclause: Sarah Taylor is such an incredible cricketer, another well deserved century.

  9. Eng 289-3published at 45 overs

Khaka returns, but Taylor completely bamboozles wicketkeeper Lee, who is left staring in the opposite direction as she reverse-sweeps the seamer for four, before stepping back and hammering a four through mid-off - she didn't even bother running for that one. Knight joins the party with another four back past the bowler.

Five overs of potential chaos to go. Is 330 realistic from here? Or higher?

  10. Eng 273-3published at 44 overs

    Taylor 102, Knight 16

Captain Heather Knight is happy to play second fiddle to Sarah Taylor's virtuoso innings - but she's going along at a run a ball and providing excellent support. Not many dot balls at this stage of the innings.

100 for Sarah Taylorpublished at 43 overs

    Eng 266-3

A well-run two to the mid-wicket fence brings up Sarah Taylor's seventh ODI hundred - and her third against South Africa. It's been a difficult few years for her, and how pleasing to see a broad smile on her face as she removes her helmet and basks in the applause from her home crowd.

Only Meg Lanning, Suzie Bates, Charlotte Edwards, Claire Taylor and Karen Rolton have more ODI hundreds than Taylor's seven in women's cricket - though Amy Satterthwaite and Mithali Raj are close behind on six.

Considering the events of Sunday, I wonder if Alex Hales is listening?

  14. Eng 258-3published at 42 overs

    Taylor 97 (89 balls), Knight 6 (11)

More slightly loose fielding in the deep - Taylor shuffles across to the off side and chips Ismail between two boundary fielders on the long leg fence for four. There's a moment of hesitation which nearly puts her captain Knight in jeopardy, but a couple more singles take Taylor to 97 and ensure she retains the strike...

Choice of grounds is still very important for the women's game. They made some very good choices for the World Cup last year.

  16. Eng 248-3published at 41 overs

Van Niekerk whistles through an over of leg-spin and will be relieved to get away with yielding just three singles.

Here's how it ended for Tammy Beaumont - with a catch in the deep, then a handshake.

  18. ouch!

    Eng 245-3published at 40 overs

Kapp and Ismail aer being rotated in one-over spells at the Cromwell Road End - Ismail's back, and there's a comedic moment when England run a quick single and Knight collides with keeper Lizelle Lee at the striker's end. They both fall over, and Knight's bat goes spinning away...

However, both players seem OK - they're good mates apparently from Lee's time at Western Storm, though as this BBC column from Knight in 2016 reveals, she thinks Lee is a little on the gullible side...
