  1. 50 for Stevie Eskinazi at Grace Roadpublished at 11:50 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

    Leicestershire 427 & 186 v Middlesex 233 & 125-3

Still a long way to go but Middlesex are holding on, thanks in no small part to their number three batsman.

He gets his 50 off 114 balls with eight fours with a neat nudge around the corner for one off Gavin Griffiths.

Middlesex require another 256 to win.

  2. Division Two round-uppublished at 11:46 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

This is the state of play so far at Swansea and Grace Road...

Glamorgan are moving into a strong position against Derbyshire thanks to an unbroken stand of over 200 between centurions Kiran Carlson and Usman Khawaja. They're 189 ahead on 268-3.

    Harmer b Gurney 6 (Essex 114-7, target 441)

Simon Harmer's stumps are absolutely splattered!

Harry Gurney's first ball of the day is an absolute beauty.

The left-arm seamer spears one back in to Harmer and he's beaten all ends up.

We are going to be left with five County Championship matches very soon...

    Warwickshire 261-1 v Kent (target 519)

Matt Henry and Darren Stevens are seeking the breakthrough for Kent with the new ball.

Ian Bell (121*) and Dom Sibley (91*) are in complete control at Tunbridge Wells.

They could do this you know!

  5. 100 for Kiran Carlson at Swanseapublished at 11:39 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

    Glamorgan 283 & 261-3 v Derbyshire 362

    Another centurion for Glamorgan.

Massively important knock for both the team and the batsman, who had notched up only 143 runs in nine innings before this game.

He guides Matt Critchley through third man for his 11th four to reach his ton off 146 balls.

    Essex 110-6 v Notts (target 441)

    Tom KeastImage source, Rex Features

There's a bit of a debate going on at the moment on BBC Essex as to whether or not Tom Keast is making his first-class debut for Notts.

The 19-year-old replaced the injured Tom Moores behind the stumps yesterday and has already claimed a couple of catches.

But they're going down as 'caught sub' on the scorecard, so I'm not sure this counts as his debut. I will try and clarify that though!

  7. 100 for Usman Khawaja at Swanseapublished at 11:32 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

    Glamorgan 283 & 253-3 v Derbyshire 362

Usman Khawaja steers Wayne Madsen through point for his 12th four to reach his second Championship ton of the summer for Glamorgan off 131 balls. Two sixes in the innings so far to boot.

Glamorgan 173 ahead now on a pitch offering a bit of turn.

    Lancashire 292-4 v Worcs (target 602)

This is gritty stuff from Lancashire pair Keaton Jennings and Dane Vilas at New Road.

The hosts have not made a breakthrough in the opening half hour.

I'm certain they'll want at least one wicket before lunch, but they're up against a couple of fine batsmen.

  9. Postpublished at 11:22 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

    Warwickshire 247-1 v Kent (target 519)

There's the 200 stand between Ian Bell and Dom Sibley. Sibley is 13 away from his first hundred of the season.

519 the target. It seems nothing is beyond possibility in this game any more!

  10. Division Two round-uppublished at 11:19 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

Here's the latest at Grace Road and Swansea...

Middlesex have a tough run chase to beat Leicestershire. They're currently 101-3 chasing 381 on a pitch offering a bit of seam movement and variable bounce.

Meanwhile at Swansea, Glamorgan are 236-3, which puts them 157 ahead of Derbyshire.

    Porter c Keast b Fletcher 0 (Essex 94-6, target 441)

    Jamie PorterImage source, Rex Features

And another one goes at Chelmsford...

Nightwatchman Jamie Porter prods forward at Luke Fletcher but snicks the paceman behind.

Simon Harmer joins Adam Wheater in the middle, both batsmen on nought. Tough times for the county champions.

  12. Postpublished at 11:16 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

    Warwickshire 239-1 v Kent (target 519)

No early alarms for Warwickshire at Tunbridge Wells in their pursuit of this record target.

It's been an extraordinary game so far. Both sides were bowled out for less than 200 in the first innings, but then the pitch flattened and the batsmen have been making hay.

Ian Bell and Dom Sibley's stand is now worth 195.

    Strange game is cricket.

    Matt MilnesImage source, Rex Features

There's the first nail in the Essex coffin...

Ravi Bopara nicks Matt Milnes behind and substitute keeper Tom Keast snaffles him.

Seamer Milnes now has 3-28. Impressive stuff from the 23-year-old.

  14. new ball

New ballpublished at 11:10 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

    Lancashire 284-4 v Worcs (target 602)

And there is the new cherry.

Worcestershire will be relieved - Dane Vilas swatted spinner Brett D'Oliveira for a four and six in the previous over.

Seamer Ed Barnard will take it.

  15. Postpublished at 11:06 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

    Lancashire 273-4 v Worcs (target 602)

Everyone is waiting for the new ball at Worcester.

Daryl Mitchell and Brett D'Oliveira are opening the bowling for the hosts, with the new peach just a couple of overs away.

Keaton Jennings and Dane Vilas have a huge job on their hands to get Lancashire off to a good start.

  16. Postpublished at 11:03 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

    Essex 92-4 v Notts (target 441)

Ravi Bopara is going to be the key for Essex you feel.

The all-rounder starts by guiding Matt Milnes down to the third-man boundary to move to 37.

Jamie Porter has a key role too - the nightwatchman will want to frustrate Notts for as long as he can.

  17. Postpublished at 11:01 British Summer Time 23 June 2018

    Warwickshire 229-1 v Kent (target 519)

Looks like a batting day at Tunbridge Wells!

Warwickshire need 290 more. They can't, can they?!
