WICKET Berg (b Haggett) 9published at 49.3 overs

    Hampshire 323-7

A full, straight delivery is completely missed by Gareth Berg and he's gone for nine. Calum Haggett is chuffed with that. A big cheer goes up around the ground.

Out comes Dale Steyn with three balls to go.

  3. Hampshire 322-6published at 49 overs

Sam Northeast finds five runs from the first four balls of the over against Matt Henry, before Gareth Berg launches a big six over long on. It's a timely six. That's taken Hampshire past 320. Six balls to go.

  4. Hampshire 311-6published at 48 overs

    Berg 3, Northeast 63

Joe Denly's fine spell ends. It's 4-57 for him, although nine runs came off this 48th over.

  5. 'Kent will be over the moon with this finish'published at 14:25 British Summer Time 30 June 2018

    Fabian Cowdrey
Ex-Kent all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

This is a real period for Kent, at one point it was looking like it was going to be 380 and now Kent are pegging Hampshire back.

Kent will be over the moon at their finish.

  6. 300 runs

300 up for Hampshirepublished at 47 overs

    Hampshire 302-6

Oops. Hampshire's Gareth Berg lets go of his bat but thankfully it doesn't hit anyone. He gets off the mark with his next ball though.

Moments later, Sam Northeast knocks one over extra cover and it's fielded well by Kent to stop it going for four but that's 300 up for Hampshire.

Their hopes of hitting 350 - which looked likely an hour ago - have faded, but this still looks set to be a competitive total.

  7. wicket

WICKET Weatherley (lbw b Denly) 0published at 46 overs

    Hampshire 297-6

Well, hello! A second wicket in the over. Joe Denly (4-48) is having a fine spell. New man Joe Weatherley goes for a duck, out to the second ball he faces. The umpire didn't need long to think about it. It hit him just in line.

    Four overs to go.

  8. wicket

WICKET McManus (c Dickson b Denly) 6published at 45.4 overs

    Hampshire 297-5

It's a third wicket for Joe Denly and it's a superb catch by Sean Dickson, who watched it all the way and it was a really high one in the air too.

Lewis McManus goes for six. The leg-spin of Denly is aiding Kent's cause here.

  9. WATCH: Rossouw falls for 125published at 14:14 British Summer Time 30 June 2018

Here's how Rilee Rossouw fell for 125.

Charles Dagnall on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra thinks "he'll be devastated" by that dismissal.

  10. 50 for Sam Northeastpublished at 45 overs

    Hampshire 294-4

Lewis McManus gets off the mark, hitting one away for four down the offside.

Moments later, Sam Northeast brings up his 50 with a single and there's a smattering of applause. He's batted well against his old side.

  11. 'A shame for Liam Dawson'published at 14:10 British Summer Time 30 June 2018

    Dimitri Mascarenhas
Ex-Hampshire all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

That is a shame for Liam Dawson, that's one of his best shots as well, he loves going over and through the extra cover area but on this occasion just found the bottom of the bat trying to go over and it was an easy catch.

  12. Hampshire 287-4published at 44 overs

Hampshire's Lewis McManus accompanies Sam Northeast now, with the latter closing in on a 50.

There are six more overs to go in Hampshire's innings and they have more than enough wickets in hand to take some more risks now.

It's a maiden over though. Much better for Kent.

  13. wicket

WICKET Dawson (c Blake b Denly) 8published at 43.1 overs

    Hampshire 287-4

But, from the very next ball, Liam Dawson misjudges Joe Denly's delivery and clips an easy one up for Alex Blake to catch at cover point.

It's Denly's second wicket. Four down for Hampshire.

  14. Hampshire 287-3published at 43 overs

Sam Northeast launches his second six of the innings, this time playing a beauty out past long off. It's a really nice strike.

  15. 'Rossouw is a world-class performer'published at 14:03 British Summer Time 30 June 2018

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Hampshire have been outstanding in forming partnerships and that's the way to get up to a big total and Rilee Rossouw has led from the front.

In these big games, you want your big international stars to step up and Rossouw has certainly done that.

    He is a world-class performer.

  16. Hampshire 274-3published at 42 overs

    Dawson 2, Northeast 41

Liam Dawson comes out to join Sam Northeast in the middle for Hampshire.

Dawson gets off the mark with the second delivery that he faces.

The over ends with a missed catch from Sam Billings. There was just the faintest of touches from Sam Northeast, and it was all fairly innocuous, but replays show Kent could have had another wicket if Billings had held it.

  17. wicket

WICKET Rossouw (c Blake b Denly) 125published at 41.1 overs

    Hampshire 270-3

The commentator's curse, eh? Sorry, Rilee Rossouw. One ball later... The Hampshire man is caught at mid-wicket for 125.

A terrific innings, which could prove to be a match-winning one. 125 runs off 114 balls.

  18. Hampshire 270-2published at 41 overs

Harry Podmore is smacked high in to the sky by Sam Northeast but the ball lands just a foot or so short of another six for the former Kent man. He's up to 39.

There's no real hint of a breakthrough for Kent at the moment.

  19. Rossouw enjoying life after lift dramapublished at 13:49 British Summer Time 30 June 2018

    Adam Williams
    BBC Sport at Lord's

It's fair to say this has been well and truly Rilee Rossouw's day so far.

This innings is even more impressive in terms of his stamina and concentration bearing in mind I've just learned he had a rather disrupted build-up to the final.

Apparently he found himself caught up in a bit of drama with a lift at the Hampshire hotel last night that saw him trapped inside between floors for 45 minutes.

Clearly showing no ill affects of claustrophobia on the evidence of this knock for his side.

  20. Hampshire 262-2published at 40 overs

In the 40th over, Rilee Rossouw hits a smashing four straight back down the ground and he actually has the umpire moving out of the way of it, for his own safety!

Hampshire's projected score is now 366 as the second Powerplay phase ends.
