  1. Stumps at Trent Bridgepublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Notts 210 & 57-1 v Surrey 592

And there ends another super day for Division One leaders Surrey.

Centuries for Rory Burns and Rikki Clarke drove their total of 592, but captain Steven Mullaney and Will Fraine battled through to the close for Notts.

Their task is still monumental though. They need another 325 to avoid an innings defeat.

They're into the last couple of overs at New Road and Trent Bridge now.

14 are still to be bowled at Old Trafford - the light isn't great - I'm not sure we'll get them all in.

With Jos Buttler still at the crease, Lancashire have hope.

The England wicketkeeper drives Ben Coad through the covers and moves to 20.

Five down! The Lancashire chase is folding quickly.

Jordan Clark nicks Steven Patterson behind and Jonny Bairstow claims a low catch.

Clark stands there wondering if it bounced, but he's sent on his way. Bairstow was convinced.

GONE! Great ball from Steven Patterson.

The big paceman gets one to spit up at Haseeb Hameed and it takes his glove through to Jonny Bairstow.

Huge blow for Lancashire and their hopes of reaching this target of 323.

    Lancashire 110-3 (target 323)

Ben Coad fires one in to Jos Buttler's pads, it keeps a little low, and there's a huge appeal.

Not out. I think Buttler had got himself outside the line.

And now Ben Coad takes some Buttler punishment.

Jos Buttler will hit those for four all day long.

Josh Poysden gets it wrong again, it's another full toss, and the England man biffs him to the leg-side boundary.

    There's tension out there.

Five boundaries already between Steven Mullaney and Jake Libby and their only in the fifth over.

The problem is... they still need another 358 to avoid an innings defeat.
