    That's lovely from Keaton Jennings.

The England opener creams Ben Coad through the covers to the rope.

Tim Bresnan is coming on for Yorkshire.

    And another four.

    Runs are beginning to flow.

Niklaus: It's nice to see Surrey taking command of games, and winning, rather than the draw-fest last season turned into. Listening to them batter 2nd place on day 2 half way through the season is refreshing

    Worcestershire 230-8 v Somerset 337

This is turning into a really frustrating period either side of tea for Somerset.

Dillon Pennington has batted sensibly to move to 24 off 62 balls, providing fine support for Luke Wood who is on 54.

Worcestershire have recovered superbly from 120-7.

  7. Sussex enforce the follow-onpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Sussex 327 v Glamorgan 85

    Adrian Harms
    Sports reporter, BBC Sussex

Sussex have simply blown Glamorgan away this morning, taking 10 wickets in the session in just 28.4 overs.

Jofra Archer led the way as Glamorgan were reduced to 15-5, only Chris Cooke with 32 showing any resistance.

As well as Sussex bowled, this is a good pitch, the ball isn’t really swinging and in truth this was a dreadful Glamorgan batting performance which ended with a run out!

Sussex have enforced the follow-on and, unless Glamorgan show better application, this game could be over today.

Duncan Ward: 186/2 for Surrey in that session off 36 overs. Even with the extras, Surrey looking ominous!

    Lancashire 20-0 (target 323)

Nothing happening for Yorkshire's bowlers so far.

Alex Davies picks up another four runs for Lancashire with a flick through square-leg off Ben Coad.

Just the 303 more needed to win.

  11. Wood frustrates Somerset attackpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Somerset 337 v Worcestershire 217-8

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Somerset

A frustrating afternoon for Somerset as Worcestershire's 120-7 has become 217-8.

Luke Wood, on loan from Notts, has been the main obstacle, taking his chances against a tiring attack on a hot afternoon.

Jack Leach, belatedly brought on in mid-afternoon, has so far failed to make an impression, on a pitch offering occasional uneven bounce, rather than much in the way of turn.

  12. Glamorgan skittled for 85published at 16:05 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Division Two latest

    • Durham 115-4 against Gloucestershire
    • Middlesex have amassed a lead of 49 over Warwickshire with nine wickets remaining. Middlesex are 89-1 in their second innings
    • Kent's Sean Dickson has got out for 59 as they reach 133-4 in their second innings, leading by eight against Leicestershire
    • They have gone for tea at Derbyshire, who are 46-1, inching ahead with a lead of 17 against Northants
    • Glamorgan are really struggling - they've been bowled out for 85, during which Sussex's David Wiese took his 300th first-class wicket. Glamorgan trail by 242 runs - no word yet if they'll be made to follow on.
  13. Postpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Lancashire 10-0 (target 323)

It's steady stuff from Lancashire's openers.

There's so much time left in this game, they can play out maiden after maiden.

Don't forget, they're without Liam Livingstone though who suffered a broken thumb while fielding yesterday.

  14. Stokes fails in Cheltenham heatpublished at 16:01 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Gloucestershire 362 v Durham 115-4 - tea

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Newcastle

It’s been quite an attritional afternoon in the heat of Cheltenham. Durham opener Tom Latham has faced 143 balls for his 60 and has lost four partners in that process.

For the third time this season Cameron Steel got himself out trying to leave a ball. This time he gloved a delivery from Craig Miles to the keeper when on 13. The ball rose and followed him but his reactions needed to be quicker.

Will Smith and Graham Clark both went lbw cheaply, while Ben Stokes faced 30 balls for three runs, before trying to drive the 31st, a delivery from Kieran Noema-Barnett, which he clipped to second slip.

There is plenty of spring in the wicket and a bit of movement, but Durham have found the going tough in the afternoon session, just like Gloucestershire did yesterday.

In five of their six championship matches this season they have been behind at the halfway stage. It will be interesting to see where they are this time.

    It's tea in Worcester.

How many more can the hosts chip into that Somerset score in the final session? Luke Wood will be the key when he resumes on 53 not out. The Pears trail by 120.

    Glorious.

Jack Brooks goes too straight and Alex Davies flicks him through mid-wicket to the rope. Pure timing from the Lancashire opener.

  19. Postpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Notts 210 v Surrey 505-7

The punishment continues for Notts as the Surrey 500 comes up.

The lead is just shy of 300. Barring a miracle, Surrey are going 40-odd points clear at the top of Division One.
