  1. 50 for Woodpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Worcestershire 216-8 v Somerset 337

What a fantastic innings this has been from Luke Wood.

The Worcestershire all-rounder has kept his side in the game, but he'll want to go on for a bit yet.

    Lancashire 2-0 (target 323)

Keaton Jennings gets this Lancashire chase under way with a couple down to third man off Ben Coad.

They'll need a special innings from someone for victory you feel.

    Notts 210 v Surrey 495-7

Rikki Clarke is in all-out attack mode for Surrey now.

The veteran all-rounder has quickly moved up to 81 with three fours in a row off Harry Gurney.

Notts will want this pain to end quickly.

    Thanks Katie.

I'm still not quite sure which way this Roses match is going to go.

Judging by what we've seen so far, Yorkshire are favourites - but I've got a feeling Jos Buttler will come to the party for Lancashire.

They'll begin their pursuit of 323 very shortly...

Right - that's me done for a little while. I'll hand over to Gary Smee to take you through the evening session.

    Somerset 337 v Worcestershire 203-8

A batting bonus point for Worcestershire as they break the 200 mark.

They still trail Somerset by 134, but Luke Wood's figures are phenomenal for a lower-order batsman - 41 from 44.

  7. Stokes out cheaplypublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Gloucestershire 362 v Durham 105-4

A really scratchy innings for Ben Stokes is ended by the wonderfully named Kieran Noema-Barnett.

The England man edges him to Chris Dent at slip and is out for three. He was there for 31 balls.

Durham are in a bit of trouble down in Division Two.

  8. Notts toil in the heatpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Nottingham 210 v Surrey 472-7

    Michael Perkins

You have to feel for Nottinghamshire here at Trent Bridge.

Despite having bowled well in the morning session and removing the top six including Rory Burns a ball after he reached a magnificent 150, the Surrey lead always had the potential to stretch.

It has now gone past 250 with Sam Curran and Rikki Clarke making the most of the damage done in the evening session yesterday by putting on a century stand together.

The heat of the sun, which has shone almost uninterrupted throughout the day, is just adding to the home side’s hardship.

    Curran lbw b Patel 70 (Nottinghamshire 210 v Surrey 472-7)

Samit Patel beats Sam Curran lbw.

Just the 70 for 20-year-old Curran - as the curtain falls on his 125-run partnership with Rikki Clarke.

    A 262-run lead for Surrey.

As Ben Coad goes for zero, they go for tea in the Roses derby.

Lancashire will need 323 to win.

    It's all going on.

Rikki Clarke reaches his half-century from 78 balls with four off Steven Mullaney.

Surrey's lead over Notts is already up to 253.

  12. Worcs avoid follow onpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Worcestershire 189-8 v Somerset 337

Luke Wood hits back-to-back fours off Peter Trego and that's the follow on avoided.

    It's been some knock from Wood - he's scored a run-a-ball 38.

    Worcestershire still trail by 148.

    Coad b Clark 0 (Lancashire 109 v Yorkshire 192 & 239)

Jordan Clark's delivery clatters into off-stump as Ben Coad lines himself up for the drive.

Still a good lead for Yorkshire, though - Lancashire require 323 to win.

    Poysden c Hameed b Parkinson 1 (Lancashire 109 v Yorkshire 192 & 238-9)

One run to show for the 11 balls he's faced, and Josh Poysden has been caught at short leg by Haseeb Hameed from the bowling of Matt Parkinson.

It's a big stretch from Hameed, leaning back to make the catch.

    Good news, Worcestershire fans.

You might still be on the back foot, but you're four runs away from avoiding the follow-on as Dillon Pennington and Luke Wood chug their way along.

Wood's just got a boundary, too.

    Lancashire 109 v Yorkshire 192 & 237-8

Steve Patterson is keeping great pace for Yorkshire as they continue to build up a sizeable lead over Lancashire, who, remember, are missing captain Liam Livingstone.

He has managed 44 from 60 as he drives Matt Parkinson's delivery into the off-side for another boundary.

    Nottingham 210 v Surrey 446-6

Surrey have taken a liking to Samit Patel.

After Sam Curran slogged one for a textbook six in Patel's first over, Rikki Clarke drove one through mid-on before immediately sweeping through square leg for a second successive boundary.

Their seventh-wicket stand is past 100.

    Brooks st Vilas b Parkinson 5 (Lancashire 109 v Yorkshire 192 & 230-8)

Jack Brooks cues himself up for a slog - and misses awkwardly.

He misses Matt Parkinson's delivery by a mile and is greeted with the sight of Dane Vilas collecting with ease to knock off the bails.

    Nottinghamshire 210 v Surrey 430-6

Nottinghamshire make a double bowling change, bringing Samit Patel and Steven Mullaney into the attack.

But it's not started so well - Patel's first delivery of the over sees Sam Curran irresistibly slog one over long-off for six...
