    Lancashire 78-1 (target 323)

Time for a bit of spin as Josh Poysden comes into the Yorkshire attack.

Yorkshire won't be panicking yet, but this is a fine start by their Roses rivals.

Lancashire require another 245 with eight wickets in hand. I say eight because Liam Livingstone can't bat.

    Notts 210 & 8-0 v Surrey 592

Notts begin their second innings with a couple of fours off the bat of Steven Mullaney.

They'll need plenty more of those!

    Four more for Haseeb Hameed!

The 21-year-old simply guides Tim Bresnan down to the third-man boundary. Classy shot.

And again! This time it's pummelled through point.

Hameed is up to 18 and Lancashire need 249 more.

    Lancashire 70-1 (target 323)

    Nice again from Haseeb Hameed.

The Bolton boy flicks Steven Patterson through the leg side beautifully. Four runs.

Another clip for a single takes him to 10.

    Virdi c Broad b Root 9 (Notts 210 v Surrey 592)

Finally, Nottinghamshire are put out of their misery in the field...

Billy Root grabs his third wicket, dismissing last man Amar Virdi.

The lead is a monumental 382. Good luck Notts.

  9. Postpublished at 17:00 British Summer Time 23 July 2018

    Notts 210 v Surrey 584-9

This is really rubbing salt into Nottinghamshire wounds.

I'm sure Jade Dernbach won't mind me saying this, but he's not known for his batting.

But he's raced onto 27 from 19 balls including a mighty six off Billy Root. Batted lad!

Marcus Trescothick and Ed Byrom get Somerset's second innings under way.

They start with a lead of 80. Always nice to have that in your pocket.

Hello, that'll give Haseeb Hameed some confidence.

The 21-year-old drives Tim Bresnan through the covers to get off the mark stylishly.

    Lovely stuff.

That's the end of Worcestershire's first innings...

Steve Magoffin skews one into the air on the leg side and Azhar Ali claims the catch. Josh Davey finishes with figures of 4-68.

Luke Wood is left high and dry on 65, but he's done superbly to get the Pears within 80 of Somerset.

    Davies lbw b Bresnan 32 (Lancs 54-1, target 323)

    There's the wicket Yorkshire wanted...

Tim Bresnan gets one to nip back in to Alex Davies and it traps him in front. Up goes the finger.

Haseeb Hameed comes in at three. Can he finally turn his wretched form around?

    Clarke c Moores b Root 111 (Notts 210 v Surrey 549-8)

Notts finally get the breakthrough and it's a wicket for Billy Root.

Rikki Clarke attempts a reverse sweep, but it balloons in the air and Tom Moores takes the catch behind the stumps.

Still no declaration from Surrey as Jade Dernbach comes in at 10.

The Worcestershire number 10 chops on to give Jamie Overton his fourth wicket.

But he's still helped his side to a terrific recovery.

    Notts 210 v Surrey 545-7

    There's Rikki Clarke's century!

    It's a 17th first-class hundred for Surrey's 36-year-old all-rounder - one which contained 19 boundaries.

How many more will Surrey want? The lead is a mammoth 335.
