    The 20-year-old has just gone past 1,000 first-class runs in just his 15th match.

    The Surrey youngster has a career first-class batting average of 67.20 and is up to 26 in no time today.

    Division Two latest

    • Northants captain Alex Wakely racked up his 6,000th first-class run earlier, and now he's brought up his half-century. He's unbeaten on 51, with his side 149-5 in reply to Derbyshire's 260.
    • Gloucestershire sealed a fourth batting bonus point against Durham but were out swiftly after, making 362 in the first innings. Durham are 6-0 after four overs.
    • Leicestershire's Ned Eckersley is going nicely on 70 not out, helping his side build an imposing lead on a difficult track at Canterbury. The Foxes are 215-8 after bowling Kent out for 104.
    • Warwickshire have struggled in today's first session, but they are on course for a first-innings lead against Middlesex, with the score 221-7 in response to the hosts' 236. Will Rhodes is 76 not out.

    The lead is approaching 200 - Lancashire are a bit flat after those early wickets.

    Jonny Bairstow and Harry Brook have put on 54 in double-quick time for Yorkshire.

    If these two are still there at lunch - it could well be game over for the Red Rose county.

    • Leicestershire's Ned Eckersley has made his half-century but has just lost batting partner Zak Chappell for 21. They're 190-7 in reply to Kent's 104
    • Warwickshire have lost three wickets this morning but have added 43 to move on to 195-7, still trailing Middlesex by 41 runs
