  1. Western Storm 114-3 - target 163published at 14 overs

    Knight 33, Wilson 36

It's Nat Sciver up for her third over and again Western Storm cannot find the boundary. Only nine added in the last two, but crucially Heather Knight and Fran Wilson are still together.

  2. Western Storm 109-3 - target 163published at 13 overs

    Knight 31, Wilson 33

A decent over by Dane van Niekerk, and Surrey Stars badly needed it. Only four added to the total - Western Storm require 54 off 42 balls.

  3. Western Storm 105-3 - target 163published at 12 overs

    Knight 29, Wilson 31

First over for Eva Gray and Fran Wilson seizes on a full toss with a boundary down the ground. Gray compensates by pulling one down short and Wilson puts it away to mid-wicket for four, before ending the over by reverse sweeping another - 14 off the over.

  4. Western Storm 91-3 - target 163published at 11 overs

    Knight 29, Wilson 17

Surrey Stars were 62-4 after 10 overs, so Western Storm are ahead on comparative run rate. Laura Marsh bowls tightly until Mady Villiers is deceived by a spinning ball on the boundary edge and the mis-field gives Fran Wilson four runs - 72 needed off 54 balls.

  6. Western Storm 84-3 - target 163published at 10 overs

    Knight 28, Wilson 11

Sarah Taylor appeals for a stumping, but Fran Wilson's back foot is anchored. The next delivery is down the leg-side, another stumping appeal, again nothing doing.

Wilson then produces a brilliant ramp shot to add four to the total after initially moving across her stumps as it to sweep.

Heather Knight gets a leading edge to Nat Sciver's final delivery but fortunately for her, the ball falls short of the point fielder.

  8. Western Storm 79-3 - target 163published at 9 overs

    Knight 28, Wilson 6

Sophia Dunkley is the new bowler but strays onto leg stump and Fran Wilson sweeps for four.

Dunkley then she sends down a wide which barely lands on the cut strip and ends the over with a wide delivery which Knight cuts through the gap for four - 12 from it.

  9. Western Storm 67-3 - target 163published at 8 overs

    Knight 23, Wilson 0

Final ball of the over is fractionally short of a length and Heather Knight flashes it away fine for four. Good finish, but the loss of Stafanie Taylor puts a lot of pressure on the Storm skipper.

    Taylor c Marsh b Sciver 16 (Western Storm 63-3)

After starring with the bat, Nat Sciver takes over the bowling responsibility for Surrey Stars.

The first two are dot balls, but she then sends down a full toss and Stafanie Taylor pounds it down the ground for four.

Emboldened by her success, Taylor goes for another big shot, but it's her last as she follows the example of Rachel Priest and holes out.

  11. Western Storm 59-2 - target 163published at 7 overs

    Knight 19, Taylor 12

A perfectly executed sweep by Heather Knight brings her four off England team-mate Laura Marsh, and she then unveils the reverse version later in the over for another boundary. The overs costs 12, and Surrey Stars need to find a way to get rid of Knight.

  12. Western Storm 47-2 - target 163published at 6 overs

    Knight 9, Taylor 10

Seam bowler Marizanne Kapp continues. It's a tidy start to the over before Stafanie Taylor and Heather Knight nudge a single apiece.

Taylor opens the face for the final delivery and succeeds in deflecting it past the keeper for four.

  13. Western Storm 40-2 - target 163published at 5 overs

    Knight 7, Taylor 5

That's an excellent start by West Indies all-rounder Stafanie Taylor, who rocks onto the back foot and square cuts Dane van Niekerk for four. A long hop to Heather Knight costs her another boundary as the Storm skipper finds the rope at extra cover. 10 off the over.

Surrey Stars were 42-1 at the same stage of their innings.

  14. wicket

    Priest c Marsh b Kapp 24 (Western Storm 30-2)

Two successive boundaries by Rachel Priest - the second a perfectly timed square cut - are followed by a single into the leg-side.

Heather Knight is immediately off the mark with two and then jogs through for a leg-bye.

The final ball sees Priest's downfall as she gets right underneath an attempt to loft the ball towards long-on and skies a comfortable catch to Laura Marsh.

  15. Western Storm 18-1 - target 163published at 3 overs

    Priest 15, Knight 0

England captain Heather Knight is the new Surrey batsman. But she is not on strike as Rachel Priest ends the over with a single.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 2.5 overs

Shrubsole c Kapp b van Niekerk 2 (Western Storm 17-1)

One over only for Laura Marsh as South Africa's Dane van Niekerk replaces her. She's not afraid to vary her length and flight and after struggling to make solid contact, Anya Shrubsole hoists one straight to deep mid-wicket.

  17. T20 Blast updatepublished at 13:35 British Summer Time 27 August 2018

    Somerset 77-3 v Notts Outlaws (9.3 overs)

Down at Taunton, the rain-affected last T20 Blast quarter-final is in progress.

Somerset have lost a third wicket against holders Notts Outlaws as Ish Sodhi has picked up big-hitting Johann Myburgh for 27.

The hosts now 77-3 in the 10th over, you can follow the action right here.

  18. Western Storm 14-0 - target 163published at 2 overs

    Priest 11, Shrubsole 2

Anya Shrubsole is immediately down the wicket to Marizanne Kapp, but can only push the ball away for a single.

Rachel Priest collects her second four with a streaky outside edge past first slip. Her attempt at the 'nat-meg', originated by Surrey's Nat Sciver, comes to nothing and a leg-bye ends the over.

  19. 'Surrey stars will be happy'published at 13:32 British Summer Time 27 August 2018

    Alex Hartley
England spin bowler on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Surrey will be happy, they have got to bowl well, we know what Western Storm are capable of.

I think Nat Sciver will be key - she's fantastic with the ball and Sophia Dunkley with the leg spin.

  20. Western Storm 8-0 - target 163published at 1 over

    Priest 7, Shrubsole 1

England off-spinner Laura Marsh opens the bowling for Surrey Stars. Rachel Priest paddles a single down to square leg, bringing Anya Shrubsole onto strike and she takes one in a similar direction.

Priest is denied a boundary by a great save by Dane van Niekerk, which restricts her to two, but finds the rope from the final ball of the over. Good start by Western Storm.
