  1. Priest hopes for return to formpublished at 13:26 British Summer Time 27 August 2018

Anya Shrubsole's opening partner for Western Storm will be Rachel Priest, whose 72 off 36 balls carried them to a seven-wicket win over Southern Vipers in the 2017 final.

She hasn't produced that kind of explosive batting so far this summer, with a highest score of 37 in nine innings, but Surrey Stars certainly won't want to let her settle.

So the target is 163 - let's see whether Western Storm can reach the final again.

  2. Sciver equals recordpublished at 13:20 British Summer Time 27 August 2018

Thanks to Adam Williams for coverage of the Surrey Stars innings.

What a knock by Nat Sciver. Her 72 not out equalled the record highest score on Super League Finals Day and also took her past 300 runs in the competition this summer.

Do Western Storm have what it takes to chase down this target?

It's a bit of a gamble to promote Anya Shrubsole to open - her average in T20 internationals for England is 9.16 - but maybe today is the day for her to show her batting potential.

  3. Western Storm need 163 to winpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 27 August 2018

Surrey Stars 162-5 (20 overs) v Western Storm

So Western Storm will need to break a KSL finals day record to reach the final and defend their title against Loughborough later.

Surrey post an imposing 162-5 at the end of their innings having been put in.

Their run-chase will begin in the next 10 minutes or so.

I'll hand you over to Paul Grunill for the first time today to take you through that reply...

  4. Surrey Stars make 162-5published at 20 overs

    Sciver 72, Kapp 32

Great finish to the Surrey Stars innings as Marizanne Kapp takes on the lead in this partnership with Nat Sciver.

Anya Shrubsole is dispatched for two fours as Kapp finishes on 32 off 24 balls, Sciver at the other end walks off with an unbeaten 72 from 43 balls.

Their partnership was an unbroken 90 in just 8.5 overs and may well have set them on course for the final.

  5. Surrey Stars 149-5published at 19 overs

    Sciver 71, Kapp 20

Claire Nicholas sends down the penultimate over of this Stars innings.

Marizanne Kapp gets away with a mistimed paddle sweep that passes by her bat and then her off stump.

Nat Sciver comes within inches of striking the day's first six with a slog sweep to square leg that lands just short of the rope.

But, Sciver is up to 71 and Surrey are looking strong now as we enter the final over.

Nat Sciver is in imperious form here and I think this tournament has been the making of her in terms of the next step in Nat Sciver the player.

  7. Surrey Stars 141-5published at 18 overs

    Sciver 65, Kapp 18

Runs keep flowing for Surrey as Nat Sciver and Marizanne Kapp's partnership continues to flourish.

Sciver finds the boundary a couple more times off Freya Davies to move into the 60s. She cuts for four and then paddle sweeps down to fine leg for another.

  8. T20 Blast updatepublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 27 August 2018

The delayed T20 Blast quarter-final between Somerset and Notts Outlaws is under way at Taunton, and the home side have lost a wicket to the second ball of the game with Steven Davies bowled by Matt Carter for a duck.

  9. 50 runs

50 for Nat Sciverpublished at 16.4 overs

    Surrey Stars 124-5

Four more down to fine leg for Nat Sciver sees her reach 50 off just 32 balls.

That's the seventh four of what has been a very big innings from the Surrey captain.

  10. Surrey Stars 116-5published at 16 overs

    Sciver 43, Kapp 16

Stafanie Taylor bowls her last over and Marizanne Kapp late cuts her for four down to third man.

Nat Sciver moves into the 40s with another fine four through extra cover that just has enough to beat the attempted sliding stop on the rope.

This partnership now worth a very healthy 44 as Taylor finishes with 1-28 from her four overs.

  11. Surrey Stars 104-5published at 15 overs

    Sciver 37, Kapp 10

Anya Shrubsole returns for a third over for Western Storm.

Nat Sciver brings up Stars' 100 with a lovely shot for four through the covers. She takes a bit more risk with another four off the next ball as it just evades the infield at short fine leg.

Sciver most definitely the key scalp here now as she moves to 37.

  13. Surrey Stars 93-5published at 14 overs

    Sciver 28, Kapp 8

Another steady over for Surrey with some ones and twos off Stafanie Taylor by Nat Sciver and Marizanne Kapp.

They made only 100-7 in last year's semi-final batting first so look on course to at least surpass that.

  15. Surrey Stars 85-5published at 13 overs

    Sciver 22, Kapp 6

Marizanne Kapp gets herself going with a nice cut for four off Danielle Gibson.

Nat Sciver joins the party with a four of her own with a sweep to fine leg as Gibson starts to prove a bit costly for the first time today.

Can Surrey build on this promising over?

  16. Surrey Stars 75-5published at 12 overs

    Sciver 17, Kapp 1

Nat Sciver holds the key now for Surrey in this semi-final.

She keeps working the ball into gaps for ones and twos and is now joined at the crease by South Africa all-rounder Marizanne Kapp.

Eight overs to go in this Stars innings.

  17. WATCH: Taylor is dismissed by a diving Wilson catchpublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 27 August 2018

Some cracking fielding on display by Western Storm so far in this semi-final...

What a catch this is from Fran Wilson.

It was the crucial wicket of Sarah Taylor too - who was looking in imperious nick.

Heather Knight on to bowl and she bags a wicket with her first ball!

Sophia Dunkley is done all ends up by the England captain and is bowled as she tries to work her into the legside.

Another Surrey wicket falls and they're in danger of crumbling here after a decent start.

  19. Surrey Stars 72-4published at 11 overs

    Sciver 15, Dunkley 1

Finally a welcome boundary for Surrey Stars as Nat Sciver cuts Claire Nicholas away to the point boundary.

10 runs off the over, can Stars launch a recovery here?
