Surrey beat Notts by an innings and 125 runs

A maiden century of the 2018 season for Somerset captain Tom Abell has put a huge dent in Yorkshire’s fight to stay in Division One.
A fluent and unbeaten knock of 132 gave the visitors the liberty to declare on 339-7, 419 runs ahead with a day and a bit still to go.
Lewis Gregory, off the back of two swashbuckling half-centuries, then picked up the wickets of both openers for just four runs and Yorkshire, who overnight find themselves in a relegation spot in the table, have it all to do on the final day.

After taking five wickets across two innings today, playing in his first game since June, Kent's Adam Riley tells BBC Radio Kent:
"The target of the day was to get the follow-on enforced, but we have bowled well enough to keep a victoy in sight.
"The pitch is misbehaving by keeping a bit low, so I was trying to keep it straight and get lbw in the game. It's a strange deck because the new ball wasn't spinning as much, so we persevered with the old ball for over 100 overs.
"We've had a couple of scenarios this season that have been like this, and there will be a big push that may involve batting later on. Just like today, we'll play attritional cricket and wear them down to get the wickets."

But he has been the star man in bowling Derbyshire out short of the total required to avoid the follow-on, and has taken both second-innings wickets as Kent set up a probable victory.
He’s bowled with guile, mixing up his pace and bowling consistently full. The Kent-born man has also spent half his time in this match kneeling in front of the umpire, pleading for lbw decisions or feeling frustrated by plays and misses.
In arguably dismissing Kent’s best two batsmen this evening in Billy Godleman and Wayne Madsen, he has put Kent in a position that seemed impossible when the hosts were 288-2 earlier today.

Ian Holland has no need to play the first ball, which drifts harmlessly down leg and he blocks out the rest.
And that's it. Essex will be over the moon to bundle Hampshire out for 172 and force the follow on.
