  1. Goodbye for nowpublished at 18:39 British Summer Time 19 September 2018

OK, the forecast is a bit grim tomorrow - but it just might be wrong!

We could be in for a thriller at Headingley, where the hosts lead Hampshire by 199 with six wickets left.

Just enough possibilities to keep it interesting among our three promotion candidates in the second division games too.

I'll be back with my shades and sun cream hoping for the best. Bye for now!

    Yorks 184 & 166-4 v Hants 157 (lead by 193)

Adam Lyth gets a single off the first ball and Tattersall hands the strike back after the fourth.

Two slips a short leg and a short mid wicket in place now. Edged!

The ball runs through the slips and down to third man for a streaky four.

He pads the last ball away and that's the close. So frustrating for Hampshire.

Plenty of Yorkshire grit from Adam Lyth to battle through to 50 and hats off to Tim Bresnan for a career-best 5-28 today to keep the visitors to 157.

    Yorks 184 & 166-4 v Hants 157 (lead by 193)

Two overs left. Another wicket tonight would give Hampshire a lift - especially if it's Adam Lyth.

Tattersall on strike at the moment and he gets a beauty from Abbott which nips way off the seam.

Tattersall survives and now it's down to Lyth to see off Liam Dawson.

  6. Hampshire facing tough targetpublished at 18:15 British Summer Time 19 September 2018

    Yorks 184 & 165-4 v Hants 157 (lead by 192)

Edwards is bowling very full here and the first two balls disappear for byes.

    17 runs in extras now.

This is a handy lead already. How many would Hampshire be comfortable with?

Leg stump half volley from Edwards and that's four more to Tattersall.

    Yorks 184 & 157-4 v Hants 157

The hosts take one more wicket to end the day, Kieran Bull caught low at first slip by Sean Dickson after Matt Henry found the edge.

The standout performance of the day came courtesy of Zak Crawley, who made a brilliant 168 with the bat.

Two short mid-wickets are in for Edwards now and Tattersall defends.

Maiden from Liam Dawson. Lyth to face Kyle Abbott now.

He pushes him to wide mid off and sprints through for a single.

That's his third first class 50 of the campaign, none more determined than this one.

    114 balls and six fours.

Glamorgan can't make it through to stumps with only two wickets down as it turns out.

Leg-spinner Joe Denly bowls a quicker and shorter one which Kiran Carlson pulls onto his stumps.

Not a great shot choice at this point in the game.

Great recovery from Sussex after Keith Barker reduced the hosts to 14-3.

They're still a fair way back but this is a true surface, the ball is 47 overs old and they're not down and out by any means.

    Worcestershire 94 & 140-4 v Essex 474-4 dec

Worcestershire's hopes of avoiding relegation disappeared in the morning session as they allowed Ravi Bopara (133) and Adam Wheater (66) to build a huge first-innings lead for Essex.

It looked like it could be over quickly when Jamie Porter struck twice after Essex declared, but Joe Clarke's unbeaten 74 has helped the Pears drag this game into a third day.
