Brian Willmott: I reckon Plunkett's place is in danger for the World Cup. His pace has been down for a while. Was uninspiring at the Big Bash and pace looks down today.

Moeen Ali gets out of the over with no more notable damage.
Ben Stokes is coming into the attack in place of Liam Plunkett.
New ball. Another boundary, Shai Hope plays it late but with enough power to beat the man at backward point and the man running round from the deep to pick up four.
Oh my. Shai Hope has hit Moeen Ali from Barbados to Guyana.
He skips down and absolutely leathers it down the ground.
In fact, out of the ground! He's cleared the media centre! New ball required.
Gayle 22, Hope 30
Liam Plunkett continues after drinks and goes back of a length, but the bounce is easy enough for West Indies to nudge five singles from the over.

Steve Jones: Regarding Dave Amitri’s comment (15:14), Root ODI average 51.5 vs 37.3 for Hales? I reckon Joe’s alright for now.
Arjun Singh: Hales is far too inconsistent to be part of this team. And woefully out of form. Let him score a few centuries for Notts before we call him back.
More exemplary work from Moeen Ali, offering plenty of control and a bit of grip to concede just three from the over.
That'll be drinks.

It's been a fascinating start to this series. West Indies have set themselves a base to build from, and they've got some big hitters to come, but how many will be enough against this England side?
Gayle 19, Hope 25
Liam Plunkett continues and does well after an expensive first two overs, limiting West Indies to just three singles.
The last single should've been two but Chris Gayle is far from mobile these days, ambling the first and meaning Shai Hope has to settle for one.
Hope looks a bit narked.
That six also took Chris Gayle clear of Shahid Afridi for the most sixes in international cricket across all three formats.
Gayle now has 477 to Afridi's 476.
New Zealand's Brendon McCullum is a way back in third on 398.
Jason Roy makes partial amends with a fine diving stop to prevent a slashing drive from Chris Gayle racing to the fence.
Tremendous response by Moeen Ali to that six, following it up with five straight dot balls.
Ask and ye shall receive.
Chris Gayle leavers Moeen Ali down the ground for a towering six.
That's his first boundary of the match.

Will the real Chris Gayle please stand up?!

Gayle 12, Hope 23
Shai Hope skips down the pitch at Liam Plunkett and slaps it through mid-off where Ben Stokes dives over it and concedes four.
That's a bit shabby from Stokes.

Rich Kisbee: Uncharacteristic from Roy in the field... Almost a real howler from someone with exceptionally high standards.
Moeen Ali continues his fine start with the ball, limiting Chris Gayle and Shai Hope to just a single each.
Gayle is playing a Jonathan 'The Anchor' Trott innings, that wild swipe aside.
A reminder that Jason Roy took one of the greatest catches of all time recently in the Bangladesh Premier League.
Compared to that, it was a dolly. Though in isolation, it wasn't completely straightforward.
Shai Hope slashes firmly through point for four to finish the over.
Liam Plunkett is not best pleased.

Poor drop from Roy. He almost dived too far to catch it - the ball ended up hitting the heel of his hands. You could tell from Gayle's body language that he knows he's been let off.
This is one 'nervous prodder' you definitely don't want to drop. A massive let off for Chris Gayle.
The West Indies opener tries to tee off against new bowler Liam Plunkett but gets it all wrong and sends the ball high up into the air.
Jason Roy runs round from point, gets there, but spills the ball as it hits his wrists.
It was a tough chance but he'd done the hard work getting there.
