No worries Jim, you won't get another chance for a long time...ahem.
That was a hammering.

Thanks Aggers for letting me call a rare Aussie victory in a first Ashes Test here in England.

I wanted to wait until after the first Test to make my prediction this time.
I'll go for 5-0 to Australia.
Nathan Lyon finishes with 6-49.
England have a lot of thinking to do about how to play him.

For Cameron Bancroft, Steve Smith and David Warner to come back in the first Test and win is massive.
Steve Smith's first-innings hundred. Incredible.
Some knock.
A proper game-changer.

To come back from 122-8 to win like this is an outstanding effort. A lot comes back to the toss - there were questions about Tim Paine choosing to bat first but it was definitely the right decision. So this is the first time Australia have gone ahead in an Ashes series in England since 2005.
They have waited a long time for this.
England hadn't lost at Edgbaston since 2008.
Can they respond?

They've needed just four hours to bowl out England in the fourth innings. If England are brutally honest about it, two got themselves out because they couldn't play the short ball. Jason Roy ran down the pitch when he should've been trying to save the match.
England should've done a lot better than they managed.
It ends in tame fashion with Chris Woakes lobbing a bouncer to second slip.
The Australians are unsurprisingly delighted. They come together in a big huddle in the middle of the pitch.
Australia take a 1-0 lead in the Ashes series.

Australia have come up with the most gratifying, memorable win from where they were at 122-8.
This is a comprehensive victory.

England aren't used to defending. They don't draw Tests. Only one of the last 33 Tests in England has been a draw.
Australia need one wicket to win
Peter Siddle is having a chat with Jimmy Anderson at the non-striker's end.
What's he asking?
What to do with a free afternoon in Birmingham?
Chris Woakes is turning down singles to keep the strike.
