What has this hit? Leach lobs a catch into the slips but Marais Erasmus thinks it's arm guard not glove.
The replays show it was a good decision.
Buttler 64, Leach 10
Jos Buttler sees it differently to me and that's fair enough considering my greatest cricketing achievement was 25 not out against Seaton Carew Under 11s. He has a massive swipe at the fifth ball, almost losing his stumps.
Buttler can't get a single at the end of the over which means Leach will be on strike to Hazlewood with a new ball next. It will probably be the final over of the day.

Chris Chelin: Leach needs to ask Smith to clean his glasses.
Buttler chips over mid-wicket but just for two. It might be wise to just play for the close now.

With Cummins bowling with a new ball, Australia are trying to get Buttler out again. They've brought the slips back in.
Will Buttler take them on?

This is exactly what England should have done in their first innings at Old Trafford. Jack Leach gives you an opportunity to keep scoring runs as a middle-order striker.
Australia take the new ball immediately and Pat Cummins is going to bowl. There are eight minutes left in the day.
Could Jos Buttler get England up to 300?
That was a stiff over from Mitchell Marsh. The new ball is now available.
Mitchell Marsh looks a little weary but Buttler hasn't got him away yet.
Here are Marsh's four wickets so far.

Charlie Winstanley: This is what Jos is in the team for, would be cruel for him to get dropped because he keeps being brought to the crease in situations that he’s not built for all because our top order can’t bat.
Mitchell Marsh has had his hamstrings rubbed and is back to try and get that five-for.

There is nothing more frustrating than this for a fielding side.
Tim Paine is not happy with his fielders who have to be told to come in at the end of the over. I think there were one or two expletives in that shout.
Eventually the Australians come in and Buttler calmly picks a gap for a single. Good batting.
This partnership has crept up to 42.

Keith Gentry: Jack Leach can pack his bags for the winter tour - as batting coach.
The crowd cheers again but not for a big shot from Buttler. It's a well-run two. The ball drops into the leg side and, with the field spread, Buttler can get back easily.

Dan Pritchett: Imagine if the top order could bat and Buttler could do this with us on 350.
Buttler 58, Leach 10
There are one or two chuckles around The Oval as again Leach sets off for a single on the final ball. I'm not sure he's fully grasped the plan. Either that or he thinks he can compete with Buttler's six-hitting.
