    Well bowled, young man!

Curran does the right thing and goes for the yorker. Peter Siddle jams down on it and gets four. No hat-trick but Curran has swung this game in England's favour.

Sam Curran gets swing in the air. That always causes confusion but it can do something off the pitch as well.

Sam Curran is a star. He's on a hat-trick against Australia.

It's a perfect left-armer's wicket. The one they dream of. Swing back into the pads and plumb lbw.

This will be fascinating to see how Smith can marshal the lower order. He's been marooned, not scoring runs.

Smith hasn't scored for 19 balls. Australia have got stuck as Archer and Curran turn the screw. Can they get another? Pat Cummins is the new batsman.

Pressure is the key to all Test cricket. But pressure is even greater than normal to these two batting sides.

There he goes! Sam Curran gets the Australia skipper.

The 21-year-old has deserved that so, so much. It's full and swinging and Tim Paine nicks behind.

    England are into the bowlers.

Mark Nicholas has kept saying to me this series, "Sam Curran was man of the series against India last summer, how is he not getting a game?"

    Well quite.

  18. Aus 166-5published at 53.2 overs

This is brilliant bowling from young Sam Curran. Tim Paine doesn't know if it's coming or going.

I can see Jofra Archer doing in Australia what some of the great English fast bowlers have done - the likes of John Snow and Frank Tyson.

He could be a match-winner in that series in two years' time with enough support.

It goes without saying that this could prove very costly.
