Smith doesn't put many down but he's put two down in this Test. It went quickly... but he should have caught it.
Steve Smith has dropped another!
Having shelled Joe Root on day one, Smith now puts down Ben Stokes at slip off Nathan Lyon.
A healthy edge from Stokes, rocking back and trying to cut a ball too close to him - it flies quickly but at a good height to Smith and he can't hold on.
Australia have now dropped five chances in the Test.
This should be fun.
Ben Stokes surges down the pitch and lofts Nathan Lyon over mid-off for four.

The worry for Australia is that their best bowler - Pat Cummins - is having to bowl a lot of overs and they're not getting wickets.
Ben Stokes punctures that tranquility as the England batsman takes on a short ball from Pat Cummins.
It's in the air for a while but lands well short of deep backward square leg. Just a single.
Replays suggest that was a no-ball from Cummins. He does seem to overstep a lot.

It's pretty tranquil cricket as England go about things with purpose and patience.
Joe Denly flicks through mid-wicket for a single and there is warm applause for England's 100.
You can never come along to the cricket incognito if you're an England player - Steph will spot you.

Ben Foakes is here, among the punters. Peach-coloured hoodie, dark cap, shades. He'll have one of the best Test averages of everyone on the ground.

It's all rather gentle really. Joe Denly pushes down the ground for a single.

Rory Burns has been the biggest positive for England in this series. Yes, Stuart Broad has bowled well and Ben Stokes has had a big impact, but I've been really impressed with Burns. He's done really well.
I expected Jofra Archer to bowl well regardless after watching him in the white ball game. He's top class.
Could be more spaces on tour if England rest the likes of Root, Stokes, Bairstow, Buttler etc after such a hefty year of cricket.

Brutal as it is to say because he's stood strong at times, but Denly on tour would take a place away from a youngster like a Sibley or Pope who we desperately need to blood.
Glen, Exeter
Joe Denly shovels a low pull shot through mid-wicket for a single and appears to tweak his ankle as he swivels after the shot.
Nothing major and on he goes.

This is a great pitch for Test cricket. We're not even halfway through and the spinner is in the game.
Denly 44, Stokes 2
Joe Denly clips Nathan Lyon through square leg for a single.
A sedate start to the session after lunch, plenty of the fans still making their way back to their seats.
You'll also notice there that Jofra Archer is left-handed.
He simply has to bowl his left-arm spin in a Test one day.
Before the start of today's play, England's newest hero Jofra Archer signed autographs. Just look at the expression of awe on that little lad's face. Priceless.
